Hi Huong, I am planning a solo trip to Vietnam in November 2024. Watching your videos has given me a good idea for planning my itinerary.
@@InfiniteJourneyswithMahesh great to hear that it’s helpful. Have a good trip in Vietnam!
i done both cities plus da nang in may, saigon was very hot and sunny, hanoi warm but duller, da nang, hot and sunny, didnt see a great deal of each city so cant really say which is better, but i enjoyed hanoi more as saigon was too hot and was glad to be away from it, hanoi old quarter is nice and more relaxed than saigon which is mental, but if you go to vietnam you need to do both as they are important to vietnams history, also da nang is more relaxed and a beach resort, unfortunately i didnt get to see hue, hoi an, nha trang or halong bay, but i did see the mekong delta and the cu chi tunnels, hope to be back in vietnam, next time i go in march, cooler and little rain
@@MrMallorcaboy thank you for sharing your thoughts. Vietnam is year round destination but weather still an important factor of any holiday. May is a hot month in the whole country, also starting of the rainy season in North and South Vietnam. If you want to escape from hot and humid, maybe checking out places like Sapa and Da Lat. Ha Giang Loop is A must if you an adventure lovers. Good time for beaches in summer though. March has cooler weather, with spring rain (drizzle) but not too hot like May. If you have time I highly recommend do both, each place have different vibe!
Hi. Can you recommend a good affordable luxury hotels in the Da Nang City Centre right by all restaurants?
@@blade6533 Hi, not sure what your budget is. But I recommend looking in the hotels on the banks of Han River on Bach Dang and Tran Hung Đạo street between Dragon Bridge and Han Bridge. Hilton, Novotel Han River, Melia Vinperal are some good options.
@@huongtrantravel Thanks for the information. Any seafood restaurants you can recommend. I will be in Saigon & Da Nang Mid October.
@@blade6533 most seafood restaurants on the beachside area. They all have fresh seafood tanks where you can choose your own fresh items and they will cook it for you. have look at Google reviews of places like Bé Ni 2, Mộc Quán. Night market like Son Tra night market also have grilled meat and seafood section.
Can you recommend which affordable luxury hotel to stay i District 5? Plan to be there in Mid October. Also, is it walking distance to D1?
@@blade6533 d5 is in far away from D1, not within walking distance away but you can use Grab or Xanh SM to get around. Not many good quality hotels in this district. I only recommend staying in d5 when you have specifically needs. i suggest hotels for each area in my website here vietnamwherestay.com/where-to-stay-in-ho-chi-minh-city-best-districts-hotels/
Great informative video, Thank you. I wonder if you can answer my question. I want a beach front hotel with pool where I can walk to local beach bars for drinks and food. Oscen etc look perfect but I want the 5 star luxury of Pullman, Intercontental etc. Any recommendations?
@@bayner01 Hi there, most beachfront hotels and resorts in Phu Quoc have private beach area and pool. Intercontinental and Pullman are located in south part of Long Beach. Nothing much happening in this area except a cluster of luxury resorts. Staying here, You’ll be spend most time at your resorts facilities like bars, restaurants, spas… For easy access to local restaurants and bars maybe staying somewhere between Salinda Resort (north part of Long Beach) to the night market area in Duong Dong Town. Not many true 5 star hotels in this section though. Have look on the map, hopefully you’ll find something that fits your preferences.
@@huongtrantravel thank you for this information. reading your guide now x

Forget about Phong Nha Ke Bang nacional park …the biggest cave in the world
Yep, thank you to mention! it a must see place if you have time, into natural attractions, and love caves!
Do you absolutely have to rent a motorbike to reach the attractions or can we also drive?
@@UPTOWNS0 in the city centre, you can walk and use Grab. To the countryside it is better to rent motorbike, have a private driver, or take a guided tour.

Is landmark 81 is good place stay in ?
@@arhamsolanki1858 it’s a good place to stay in. But in my opinion, I would stay somewhere more central such as district 1 for easy access to all tourist attractions if I’m a first time visitors. You can cut down time traveling to major sights and nightlife. If you stay in Hcmc long time, you can split your stay in both the more central area and at landmark 81.
@@huongtrantravel i booked a apartment in 98 khanh shoi street district 4 is it a right place? To stay in
@@arhamsolanki1858 you should be alright. That area and district 4 is a Former Mafia Hotspot of Ho Chi Minh City and safe now. It offer more local atmostphere. You can use Grab to see attractions or take guided tours.

You should have started from the north because Hoang Su Phi and Mu Cang Chai are spectacular from end of August to September. Ha Giang or the northwest is breathtaking. I think you still have times.

Agree with the last comments made ! Plus what'a the point of contrasting the food when the viewer does not speak Vietnamese REALLY DUMB ! !
How is the weather across Vietnam in November ?
November is, in my experience, a great time to visit North Vietnam and South Vietnam. North Vietnam is entering a cool/cold month but dry weather is good for exploring. South Vietnam has warm weather and also the start of the dry season so rainfall is minimal. Good month to go to beaches like Phu Quoc in the South. Central Vietnam is still in the rainy season, tropical storms and flooding can occur during this month here, so always keep an eye on the weather forecast. It doesn't mean you shouldn't visit Central Vietnam during this month, you still have some sunny days for exploration, but update the weather forecast in case extreme weather can occur. You can check my article here vietnamwherestay.com/best-time-to-visit-vietnam-weather-by-month/ . I also wrote many articles about specific weather for each city on my website.

Da Nang for me 😊
It's great to hear that Da Nang is a favorite city for many visitors.🎉
@@huongtrantravel i liked da Nang too, spent most of my time in a beach bar.
I always advise to skip both cities. Centrap Vietnam os amazing. Theres also Nha Trang. If you are in the North go to Sapa, Ha Long or Nhin Binh. In the South theres Da Lat or Can Tho. You will have a much better Vietnam experience
Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. I believe everyone has their own preferences. Some people enjoy big city life, while others prefer beaches and natural attractions. Personally, I love Da Lat and the Ha Giang Loop.
@@huongtrantravel Da Nang has everything. Big city and also beaches and mountains. The best coffee and delicious foods.
@@Creees Oop, I forgot to mention it. I love Da Nang too; it’s one of the most livable cities in Vietnam. The cost of living is affordable, the beaches are nice, and there are lots of outdoor activities. ❤️
The robotic voice is tiresome and often mispronounces even the names of the two places being contrasted. With such a basic mistake, I don't feel like I can trust the information in the video.
Vietnamese here. I agree that sometimes the pronunciation of names might not be perfect, but it's still acceptable. I'll work on improving it. It took me a few hours to write the script and create the video. I've traveled to both places, and everything is based on my real experiences.
THanks your great video! it's really helpful
Thank you for letting me know! Glad it was helpful!
How is the weather in Vitenam
The weather is different between the north, central and south regions of Vietnam. North Vietnam has distinct winter and summer seasons while South and Central Vietnam have warm weather all year round. Tropical storms can occur in central Vietnam during the rainy season.
Well documented. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
the merchandises are everywhere the same in SE.. so funny
welcome to Hoi An!
Thanks for the video! We will be visiting in October. Is Grab the only ride share app? What about Bolt?
@@Unplugged704 grab is the best one and the most popular. No bolt in Vietnam. It is already cheap and convenience using Grab so I don’t bother looking at other apps ( gojek, xanhsm can be found in big cities)
