Barcelona is just a fantastic city to visit. There are so many landmarks, generally speaking, they are friendly people & incredible food. We loved all the places that we visited & we could see ourselves going back there.
However, there are things to be aware of. Their subway system is great to get around but it gets very crowded on certain lines. Be mindful of PICK POCKETS on the train. We stayed at the Las Ramblas area and also a very hotspot for pick pocketing. Avoid eating on the Las Ramblas. They are way way over priced & they will hit you with service/tip charges at the end. Walk for 20 minutes to Port Vale and have a lovely dinner by the water and less pricey & more relaxed atmosph...
