Aye bro this volatility pinball drill is INSANE for learning bro. I just started doing this drill this last week and have got to say it's probably probably one of the number 1 best drills for spotting setups and getting used to which ones are good.

hi mate 2 things, at around 6.30 you talk about an inversion fvg which isn't the case in this point of time as there was no imbalance of orders not being filled shown by wicks clearing all areas of the previous candle, this is purely just a disrespected fvg. Also I would suggest on a demo whiles you are trading like normal you also do the exact same analysis but start with the 15 or 5 min acting as you starting point of analysis aka. you daily timeframe and use the lower timeframes to see the setups occur a lot more often as you will be looking more at the 1 minute. not saying you should or shouldn't trade on this its just that it will help you see your strategy a lot more frequent in live markets just so you get confident as all timeframes are relative with our analysis. sorry this is long but keep up the work, you are doing great!!!

Hey man, great analysis, you're really improving! Quick note tho, I think you may be over complicating your trading. All these drawing and lines and this level that level this sibi that bisi, at the end of the day, all you need is proper daily bias, and an entry model that you know statistically works 70-80% of the time and that's it. 1:2-3RR every time and you're good, abut that's just me and what worked for me. Bro once you study ICT over 1 year. You will realise TTrades is so awesome. But first you need the foundation from ICT himself. TTrades is great revision material. It is short and concise. Do not understimate TTrades although I do agree he is not useful at the start. ICT talks too much. You will know you have surpassed ICT when he starts making you fall asleep after 1-2 years of study.

Yeah... you don't need the 2024 teachings bro. HTF Bias (Internal range liquidity, to External range liquidity utilizing Daily and 4hr time frame. If we come into a Daily or 4hr FVG, we want to sweep some sort of liquidity. You want to see if we displace away from the level or displace back into the range. If we displace back into the range you know it's a true liquidity sweep. Wait for 09:30 open, if you're bullish best trades will be if market sells off into a high time frame (15m or higher) PD Array or another internal liquidity pool. And vice versa for bearish. Adding Macro or Silver Bullet is extra confirmation. Wait for a MSS *With DISPLACEMENT*, you can enter at the FVG OR Wait for another internal liquidity sweep within discount/premium and enter at the FVG. It sounds like a lot but it's not! But this is just advice and how I trade, do what makes sense to you. Good luck out there!

I would caution against this. You want to instill good habits. Stick to a routine. A+ quality setups which only happen a few times a session. Also, it's fake money, so you are not really desensitizing yourself, cuz trading real money brings way different emotions than the sim/demo.

Another thing: where you put your entry for going long-the gap that occurred in the three black candles, just above the consolidation area-will often be a good entry point for a short position. In my experience, the bigger the gap, the more likely the price is to fall. Most times, the wicks will barely press into the bottom of the gap, so the entry is usually one or two ticks below it.

Traders love chart work because they are chasing certainty, in an inherently uncertain market. I've studied ICT like a madman for 2 years. 12 hours a day every day, watching his videos on 2x. Trust me I know all his teaching like the back of my hand. The secret is not in the models. My advice...start removing "models". Make up your mind what the weekly will look like, then make up your mind what the daily candle will look like. Trade only in that direction. The more criteria to open a trade, the better. The less you participate in the market, the better. Good luck.

Nice analysis. I still prefer to mark out wedges, cups, and handles on the 15-minute and 1-hour charts because it helps me predict when the market makers are about to kick retail traders in the teeth. Plus, they help me identify bigger overall trend change times, not direction-that's in the charts.

where you were expecting price to turn around was not an external low nor was it an unmitigated imbalance. not to mention the weekly bias was short down to the W FVG.

there was an SMT at the highs you wanted to see get ran. once there is an SMT it becomes a protected high and you should expect it to hold.

9:10 am sept 26 great short entry by going down to 5min chart and using CRT, i personally managed to catch the all time high today at 11:25am Ny time for a nice short on dow jones futures...check out a channel called "the soup room" he focuses on candle range theory / turtle soup he has a few videos about the 9am model for CRT thats helped me tremendously...i have 10 years trading experience but just recently got into ict in an effort to improve my trading further as a way to focus more on candlesticks...from one student to another good luck on your journey bro, we got this...learning ict in general is like a cheat code. Just started with TJR bootcamp. Moving onto ICT mentorship next. Do I watch the 2022 mentorship or the 2024 one?

What you need to understand, is that 1. "every technical method, whether ICT or simple support/resistance or even EMA cross, IS just a way of getting ODDS of SUCCESS in your favour. " You seem to be wanting to predict the future based on what you see in the charts. You cant. No matter how much you backtest or look at charts as to why something happened, you can never really know for certain. If you have a bias, whether bearish or bullish, establish the point where this assumption is invalid. It will usually be at a swing high or swing low of a timeframe. That is your stop. Find a entry model, i.e orderblock, breaker block or fvg. Enter long or short targeting the next swing high or low Let the market decide if THIS trade is one out of 10000000 that will conform with your bias. ^^^^^^ This is the entire playbook in regard to ICT. I have spent countless hours annotating charts, when i could have been trading. Actually forcing myself to enter trades that conform to what I am seeing right NOW. Not what I am predicting or wanting to happen, but what is actually happening. You were looking for a long but the basics of price action around 12:00. Just look at how bearish that price action is. Orderblocks, BreakerBlocks, FVG's all respected to the downside. All viable. Entering just one of those could have been beneficial to your trading psyche than waiting for a long, pretending you are being patient. No, you are being stubborn in your bias. Now, I am a big fan of what you are doing. Part of learning is reading comments such as these and pondering them. Alot of people will commend you on your work and throw platitudes about how you should keep going. They will not offer the insight i have just given you. Anyway, the ball is in your court

this is what i do every single time. 1) identify your market structure, 2) strong/weak highs and lows, 3) ChoCh, 4) Orderblocks, 5) FVG and finally 6) Mitigation. If it fullfills at least 3 criterias out of the 6 criterias, the next engulfing candle close on 5M/15M TF, i would take the trade. I don't predict, I react. I don't gamble, I trade, This is what i always remind myself. Lets do our best.
