KT Tunstall. Black Horse and the Cherry Tree / Sweet Dreams mash up, Annie Lennox tribute. The Guild Theater, Menlo Park, CA. 6/15/2023. KT is a great live performer. Go see her if you get the chance. This was a really fun night. All rights are, of course, KT's.

Little Alice (debut performance) ~ White Rabbit. Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway @ The Guild Theater, Menlo Park, CA 4/2/2023 @MollyTuttle ~ Pardon the rough edit at the midpoint. I didn't know they were going to play through, so I recorded it as two clips and had to sitch them back together. I'm an old guy with a phone that is smarter than I am. This was my first crack at "Editing." All rights...

"Small Town Nashville Blues," Cristina Vane. Opening for Molly Tuttle, at The Guild Theater, Menlo Park, CA 4/2/2023 They say no one ever listens to the opening act. You do when they sound like this girl. This was the first time I ever heard, or heard of Cristina Vane, but it won't be the last! Cristina, if you see this, you made a fan tonight. Actually, you made a bunch, everyone around me sai...

The Best
I would really like to see The Bygones, The Other Favourites and Reina el Cid do a UK tour (please do not miss out Leeds) together. How about it?
looks like you got your wish!
Wonderful! Kt's always marched to the rhythm of her own (ahem) beat-box...! Love It!
We were blessed to see them perform this incredible ’medley jam’ at Cervantes Masterpiece with Dominick’s family
Impressive 🙏
I think she's Awesome!!!
Iam mad at her
Too good
I really like KT. I am glad I learned of her via her collaboration with Suzi Quatro.
Mes mer ising.
I have a family castle in Scotland. Campbell Castle, I am the greatest living descendent of Rob Roy.
I have two, but what does that have to do with KT?
A legend in the making.
Mega Powerfrau! Ei "Energiebündel" mit jeder Menge natürlichem Sex-Appeal! THANKS for this version of an old song! ❤
It’s good to see them maturing together like this. This is one of them sets that you know at the start was a moment that was meant for that one moment in time and you got to witness the magic.
Molly's vocals have sure got much more powerful in the past couple of years. This is a fantastic band.
Thanks for posting it!
So Molly uses an exact opposite arrangement from Billy
Less bass More KT
LOVE this song. Because anyone who plays guitar can sing it.
Wow, Molley's vocals at the end of White Rabbit, incredible. She gave Grace Slick a run for her money. 😃
Molly, Grace, and get J Baez for a Palo Alto High alumni trio.
This.....yes! Just.....yes!
Whoever videoed this performance should take two weeks off....And then quit. I was drunk by the time it was over.
Great video!
Nice! Could've sworn I heard Stevie Wonder Superstition riffs at the end. Delightful!
I just noticed the size of Bronwyn Keith-Hynes pedalboard!
Gloden Highway--their performance is pure glod.
Doh! Three months, and 21k views and you were the first to notice! That is what happens when you upload a song or two at midnight, after the show. Fixed it, thanks.
I thought you were a Terry Pratchet fan
I've never heard a violin that sounds like an accordion. Amazing.
I just noticed the size of Bronwyn Keith-Hynes pedalboard!
Five prodigiously gifted musicians... all highly accomplished at an early age but sought further training at prestigious music colleges: Berklee College of Music, Boston (Molly, Bronwyn, Kyle and Dominic) and University of Wyoming (Shelby). All adept in many genres of music. They will go far if they can hang together.
@@mrb9107 They probably will, because they have such fun together!
I expected a cover of The Jefferson Airplane's WOODSTOCK FAMOUS "White Rabbit". Didn't like being misled. You should change the name to something like "Alice Went Down the Rabbit Hole".
Did you make it to the middle of the video? They played a new original, into White Rabbit.
@@tahoemike5828 Eventually I did after I posted once I read several of the comments.
@@JamesPolichak Did you like it tho' - I did... And if you are a fan of the song have you seen Pink do it? ruclips.net/video/ya8HXx2VxFU/видео.html&ab_channel=TXJDB
Spectacular! Nobody plays live like KT Tunstall! She can do things with just a pedal, a mic and a guitar that a whole overproduced ClearChannel label of pop stars couldn't manage with a staff of fifty, a road crew and a craft service table APIECE. There's singers, there's musicians, and then there are legends in their own time.
Good performance ... I'm intrigued about her ancestry... Scottish and Japanese.. how fascinating
Molly's covers of songs I've heard for years just seem to come alive with such originality. I have so many more smile lines on face from listening to her
I know it sounds crazy, with music coming from two completely different gebres, but these folks share a lot of similarities in style and sound with a 70's surfing music band named Honk.
Excelente!!
great Livepower!
⭐Best solo looper out there!
Have you ever seen Keller Williams live??
I dunno Melissa Etheridge does a fine job as well...actually those two doing a venue like this would rock the house. Just saying
Thanks for the video man. She hit my radar a few years back. Pretty badass for an Italian sister… I thought she was from Mississippi for awhile…
She was a surprise that night for sure.
Nice lyrics… is this a Molly original?
Yes, it is.
Just fine music! Molly you are a gift to us music lovers!!!!
Left there 50 years ago for all the reasons Molly captured in this awesome song. But god it was once so good. “They called it paradise, the place to be"…..
Brownwyn's stage presence and performances have really progressed over time.
She has the best poses and moves. Plus she's gorgeous❤
Damn, this is good. Looking forward to seeing them again Friday in OKC!
Awesome
Litte Alice seems to have elements of The Devil Went Down to Georgia along with a lot of originality! Creativity exploding! Always good to see young performrrs aware of greats like the Jefferson Airplane.
Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway defy classification. I detect elements of pop, bluegrass, rock and roll, folk, traditional country and maybe some jazz. No other musicians sound like them. Despite each member being a virtuoso they are very respectful of each other. When one takes a solo the other four support them beautifully. They must enjoy each others contributions to the music. Perhaps the harmony vocalists could sing a bit louder.
saw them in concert in Connecticut a week ago and your post is spot on, they do defy classification and as a huge fan of the genre they also bring a dynamic stage presence not often seen in bluegrass. I go to a lot of concerts and have been lucky enough to see some incredible shows over the last couple of years, The American Acoustic Tour with Sarah Jarosz, The Punch Brothers and Watchhouse, Sarah Jarosz solo and with I'm With Her, Sierra Ferrell, and Sierra Hull, Molly and Golden Highway were just a touch above all those shows, for all of the reasons you mentioned.
Thank you for sharing this. I saw Molly Tuttle for the first time at this past year's final named Hangtown Music Festival! While I was already a fan, it has since grown to a "girl crush". I love her playing style and voice! Talent definitely runs in the family. 😘✌💓🤘
I am SO looking forward to this in Virginia Beach, 5/27/23!!! Molly's guitar playing reminds me so much of Al Stewart.
So they wouldn't sound as good without numerous foot pedals on the floor? How does this "help"??
I am a bass player. I don't even know how to answer this. If you are a musician, then you know. If not ,well...?
@@joescullion5604 I'm referring to bluegrass music. How do foot pedals/sound enhancement help?
@@goldpop5001 you’d have to be there, I guess.
I wonder where this world would be without criticism... Good grief man! Just listen and enjoy. These are some of the most talented young people in the music business today. I so appreciate that some young people still want to create amazing music like this while so many of their generation are churning out pure garbage!
@@dnett57 I totally agree! But how is a simple question interpreted as a criticism?
So cool! Home. I can't wait to be able to go out and see you, hear you sing and play.
