Просмотров 18 тыс.19 часов назад
Watch this guide as we both learn how the new Animal and Crafting mechanics work in the new Build 42 update. (sorry if i sounded dull, it was midnight and i was eepy) chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:27 Crafting Tools & Weapons 04:55 Sharpening Tools & Weapons 05:37 Chickens 09:33 Cows & Milking 12:42 Sheep & Shearing 14:22 Uses of Wool 15:12 Pigs 16:36 Butter Churn & Butchering 20:23 Leather processin...
we can't start our game in the wilderness in project zomboid, we need a magazine to make chisel (I don't see any traits or trades that allow us to know how to make it) and a real iron bucket, a very questionable choice in my opinion. I have cleared all of westpoint in apocalypse mode, but I still can't how to make a small forge
Que hagan un mood para que tenga la estética de D&D con esqueletos dragones y goblins estaría cool hacer algo con esa temática
Where can I get bucket of clay cement
You craft it with a bucket of 10L water, clay and a sack of sand. If you can't craft it for some reason then try and put them on the ground and craft it from there. :)
Thank you very much for the video, greetings from Spain
Thanks for the video it was very informative, but, this system sucks lol. It doesn't seem very viable for single player characters due to the vast amount of recipes, skill levels, and tool requirements to craft.

4:02 came here specificly for the "bucket of clay cement" and it's the only part you skipped lmao. For whatever reason I can't make it
It should just be the 10L water in a bucket, clay and sack of sand. Try and put the ingredients down on the ground and craft it there, because that's how I did it in my solo runs. I hope this helps! :)
Awesome video! Thanks for making this : )
Excellent video bro, im suprised nobody else has made a tutorial on crafting yet in 42, its really convoluted hats off to you, also: If your still reading comments and taking suggestions, might i suggest structuring your next tutorial via crafting type? say for example, you start with claymaking, and instead of jumping around to other trees like blacksmithing forging knapping etc, you focus on thats specific tree for a fraction of the video explaning what you have to do at the very base level 0, to get started and get going all the way up to final near end of the tree. That might make for a longer video, but im sure it'd be well worth it :)
are you danish? loved the video btw!
Ja det er jeg! :D
good video! thx
I have the weirdest love of watching these guides and then never really doing most of it 😂
Why bother? When you can just maintain weapons you already have / find new ones.
You prolly already figured it out, but I wanna pass on some engagement for ya.. The leathers/bones are good for specific clothing items that you need 4-6 levels in tailoring for. Bone mask, bone choker/collar, bone gloves, off the top of my head are very good bite protectors provided you have the near by animals!
Blacksmithing Knowledge +1! Thanks!
just give the animals new jeans. I think I learned that with animal farm
Yes thank you so much Thank you!
I really want to get into animal husbandry, but I don't know what to feed the animals except bags of feed. It would be cool if you made a detailed video about all the tricks of animal husbandry
All livestock animals pretty much eat the same things. And that goes for something as simple as grass cuttings too. You get that from removing grass and you can get even more with a scythe. Animals don't eat food that quick as they drink water. So I would recommend like 1 food trough as you can fill them with so much and 1-3 water troughs depending on the size and amount of your animals. Anyway, I have considered making a detailed video about animals as I hear some people want it. Happy new years. :)
@JazFlie Thank you very much, I subscribed and will wait for new videos
thanks for the vid, man!
Awesome dude, keep up the good work
Mate keep up with this type of content and ride the wave andyou got a really good chance of becoming a big project zomboid youtuber
Unnecessary crafting/ grinding bloat that is out of place and important features still missing ..sigh
Great intro and good explanations!
What profession should i go for since there are so many requirements? I wanna try a knight build
As you said there are many requirements so even if you pick something that would make sense like Blacksmith as profession, you'll still need the magazines to give you the recipes to craft cool armour and weapons. So just make the character however you want as you still need to loot for tools and magazines sadly. Happy new years. :)
@JazFlie I tried blacksmith and went to the McCoy estate, but i think there's no crucible
Cant find any large stone for like 10h and i cant pick those seen visually as you said i should
Wow that's surprising. There should be some once in a while at farm lands. Have you tried foraging with the focus set to stones on roads too? Happy new years. :)
I find them too often. Look on roads with your focus set to stones.
Very nice guide, short, informative e covering several topics. Good job! I have a question, can you craft long weapons like swords, maces or spearheads?
Thanks! The primitive forge can sadly only craft so many things. And since you cant craft the simple or advanced forge you'll need to find them to forge the cooler weapons like swords and maces. Unsure about spearheads, as they seem small and simple enough but yea idk. Happy new years. :)
Good video thanks for your work.
sick intro man
If you're worried, you will like be able to skip a lot of the primitive levels by looting pre-event equipment. The lowest tech levels are just there in case you fucked off into the woods or something at game start.
A lot of, "I'm not quite sure how this works," for a crafting guide...
Good video. A suggestion if you do one of these again in the future is to do the materials needed first, it would help the video flow a little better before going straight to the goal and then back again to whats needed. 👍
A note about clay, according to a comment by Spiffo on the steam forums, you can find clay in School storage rooms
Oh nice! I'm glad there are other ways to find it. Happy new years. :)
I dont have the recipes to forge small iron items how else can i get xp?
Yea I forgot to say that you sadly need to find the magazine that unlocks the recipe for either the small knife or spoon to begin forging. I haven't found any other way to get xp with no recipes which is a bummer. :/ Happy new years. :)
So, its Skyrim forgin 500 iron dagers 6:24 to go smithing 100
Finally, someone to teach me how to take care of my animals!
bro came out of youtube hibernation to bring us the freshest B42 guide! really appreciate the detail 😊
Im pretty sure clay is way more common when it's raining
Oh hey I'm in the intro! Cool! Thanks for the tips my friend! I don't know if I missed the part about where to find the metal and if metal junk can be recycled and melted down. Also what will progression look like? Will I need to make 100 knives before I can make a sledgehammer?
You can smelt down most metal stuff you'd find anywhere from even houses too like dumbbells, knives and such. I am unsure about how much it'll take until you can make a sledgehammer, but it took me about 20 knives I think to get level 1 in blacksmithing. But some more cooler and maybe even the sledgehammer, are forged by only the simple or advanced forge. And you sadly as of not cant build those because of an oversight of some uncraftable iron band by them devs. Though there are some places you can find the advanced forge already there. Glad you liked the video and being in the video! Happy new years. :)
useless.
Commenting for support, thank you for the video, good luck!
Fantastic video
This guy is getting famous 👍
Commenting to support, keep up the good work and good luck.
I did indeed enjoy the intro! I've been waiting for a good crafting guide since b42 dropped. Much thanks and I'm happy that your vids are getting more traffic! Always good to have more pz content out there. Subbed!
Awesome intro my guy.
I cant wait to base on a farm isolated from the big cities and craft/farm
Is there any way to craft anvil for the advanced forge?
this seems like a lot of work to get started 😢
how about you make a channel at life & living?
