not my finest hour, 20 knots of wind and quite choppy. i was using a Saturn 5.85m old fashion sail. The foot mast came off after falling. Was rescued by a man in canoe:)

your kart has too much grip imo. try losing it up a bit, i think you will go faster. its harder to handle because you almost drift through turns, but you dont scrub off speed as much. try with higher tire pressure
do you see any young drivers in this class. I only ever see adults driving dd2 but according to rotax's website you can drive this kart at the age of 15 years.

you maybe will see me in europe this year. Last year started driving dd2 (i was 14)
in sweden you cant drive dd2 until your like 30 or something

Its really funny - after you driven a shifter kart there's no way you can sit still in your chair while watching.

i meant, it's not even shifters, it's frontal brakes.
rungameid they are shifters, they have two gears. the front brakes run off the pedal

Dont truly know why they dont but if they had it would for that reason
so why dont KZ's have these type?
DD2s are much quicker so the probability of having more serious accidents are superior in comparasion to other classes
in case a go kart hits you in the rear that «bumper» has those orange things( dont know whats the proper name) which will prevent the other go kart from getting on top of your bumper since they spin
why do DD2 have different rear bumpers to other classes??

How it happend what rig came off from mast base? How do you ended, kayaker helped? Can imagine its so exhausted put rig back on so floaty board. Do you still sail with crit?
