In My Words: Spotlight on SHINE
The SHINE (Sustainability, Human Rights, Inclusion, and Equality) project, driven by communities in Ghana and Ethiopia and supported by Canadian Feed the Children in partnership with a strong network of local organizations, empowers these women to increase their harvests, boost their incomes, and improve food security for their families.

Working From Home: Women-led businesses make change in Ethiopia

Since 2020 the Women's Livelihoods & Gender Equality Fund has made it possible for girls and young women in Ethiopia to stay in school, build skills, start businesses, and earn an income at home in the Amhara Region, rather than risking their lives migrating outside the country.
