Gone Soon Blues

I'm saying "part of" because the 2nd degree does not exist in the pentatonic pair I'm using, so it cannot be voiced. The full extended blues scale is 1 2 b3 4 #4 5 6 b7,like a Dorian with an added #4. The voicings here come from Gmin and C#min pentatonics, and they are consist of major triads, minor triads and a good amount of voicings in fourths.

These have the texture of fourths mixed with triads and they are derived from stacking two different Pentatonics. Like the last two or three uploads, this one is also in Gmin/C#min Pentatonics.

No video here, just a quick noodle around the bitonal pentatonics. The guitar is plugged straight into the audio interface, only reverb added afterwards and some panning.

Try playing something in Gmin or in C#min pentatonic against these voicings. Both work.
