When you intentionally disrespect and spit in the face of all those who served with a false story and characters like the ww2 portrayal they did and then tell the core base "If you don't like it, don't buy it" It's over for you. Not to mention bf 2042 and all the lies like "we're months ahead of schedule" or when the beta came out and they said "Guys relax because it's just a early build of the game" then it comes out and is exactly like the beta. Intentionally lying to the consumer and your core base for money. You are done. Not one person should preorder this garbage. They say all this about gameplay and back to the basics but watch when it comes out with the woke garbage in it. They didn't even have scoreboards or voice chat in like the first half of bf 2024's life. Battle bit did nearly what every core bf play wanted and they did it with like 4 people compared to bf 2042 using 4 triple a studios. Disgrace.

The sad reality is people will buy this garbage because they're too stupid to know better and youtubers will push the hype because that's how they get paid. Humanity deserves all the bad things that happen to it.

Nope, Sorry, battlefield lost me at one armed female WW2 war hero and replacing notable famous male historical warriors (British Comandos) with a cringe worthy female duo. The games have seen a huge down tick in quality since they started forcing political retcons into the history of warfare. They lost my trust and will not get it back until everyone who pushed these ideas are publicly fired. A huge disrespect to the men who actually fought and died in these wars was shown by Dice. No forgiveness for that.

i think it’s one thing to remember that battlefield 2042 was scrapped halfway through development because of ea and they still had to push the game out with in a year and a half also during covid. most games like this take at least two years. i think this is all the right steps and keeping the community engaged with development. i am not going after the community but we can not allow this game to be rushed i dont want a rushed bf game again like a lot of these AAA games now days. that’s up to ea though on when they push to release unfortunately. the fps genre needs a game like battlefield

Guys, I think it's dead. There's so many ways they can make it work. But Dice currently misses every cue hint and tip. Complete incompetence. It will be another disappointing game and played finally give up on the franchise. Maybe they'll manage something, I certainly hope I'm wrong. But I'm the person who think England and Holland learn how to play football again.

1. No microtransactions. That includes a battle pass or anything else like that. DLCs are fine if they come with good content. 2. Bring back full destruction and not the nerfed shit we have now. 3. Have a launch where the game actually works. 4. Get away from the future tech with insane OP gadgets. Give us a well balanced, large scale military shooter. Doesnt have to be super mil sim but at least keep it grounded. Oh and gives us a proper hardcore mode again.

The current devs should be forced to play bc2 bf3 and bf4 for at least 200 hours before attempting to create anything

Cod isn't gonna flop but definitely won't be a success like only way I can see myself playing a new cod is for round based zombies which I'll just buy it when it's like 75% off because the mp hasn't been good for a long while I enjoyed wz on 2019 but when it changed maps it went downhill and the fact we have xdefiant now I have no reason to buy a new cod a free to play shooter with a fraction of the file size and just as much content as a new cod every year and I only like round based zombies and basic mp in cod which they're not putting in effort for mp they ruined it bo4 was the last great one

Gave it a solid 10 hours across 2 days, absolutely hated it during my first ever match, hated it on my 50th, never again. The map designs are awful as well as the spawns. TTK is way too high for this sort of game, esp when you have classes that can oneshot you with fire or heal an entire team. Hilarious how like 2 guns can 2shot you, but a shotgun point blank can't oneshot and a it takes a full mag of an AR to reliably kill. The balance is atrocious. How the game doesn't have a classic TDM or FFA is a crime. Weapon and BP progression is an absolute slog, not fun in the slightest. I can't see anyone buying microtransactions for any reason outside of the first season and that's purely because of the hype. The game will lose the majority of it's playerbase by the end of the year, and fully close by the end of next year or 2026.

Severely disappointed. Looks amazing, plays stiff (no attention to fluid movement or semi-natural feel). Bullets phantom through enemies. I gave it two days and uninstalled. Was hoping for a better COD Killer. Maybe in time it will get better, but I imagine they put {a bunch of effort in to get it to this point} using assets already available and have no plans on changing anything if the numbers overshoot competitors out of the gate.

Played for about 2 hours then uninstalled. Shooting bullets into the void is beyond frustrating.

If Dice really wanted to make money . They would simply build out a game . Then dumb down the graphics then bug test it appropriately . I built a PC for BF4 and due to dice and their fuckery I spent like 500 hours tweaking and trying to make the game feel appropriate ! I purchased early on and thought I had a decent package and would be included moving forward. By the time I got a pc that could run the game the DLC's had divided the community so badly . I never really got to experience bf4 the same way I did bf3 on pc !

Produce shit it does not sell so you have to layoff staff. In the old days gamers made games now corporate clowns control the making of games and they wonder why most modern games are shit. Live service games apart from Helldivers 2 are utter shit. Look at recent successes Helldivers 2, balders gate 3, gamers making games for gamers and not profit driven but quality driven. Don’t buy day 1 AAA games wait to see and if they are not good and don’t get good reviews keep your money.

this game was trial build for all the new hires at DICE and this was as best as they could do. i’m not looking forward to the next game. franchise died with bf5 shitshow.

Reimagine BF3 and BF4 maps and BF is back in the game. But since it cost money and time they’re not willing to part from it’s going to be a slow 2024 and most of 2025 till June if they show the next BF

that piece of sh*t was dead from the start. the game is losing support and in all over the years there was no balance, the weapons for sniper are few and badly implemented and all round the games is sh*t in performance. lemme ask you, if you are going to snipe across the map whats better? a sniper rifle with less than 6 bullets, automatic instant bolt cycle (when you reload another bullet) or an assault rifle/smg/lmg/pistol which not only have the same distance but are more stable, have more bullets and the bullet drop don't affect them. yeah, sniper rifles are few and completely useless, no dua zoom, no option to DECIDE when to bolt cycle and this last one is a must because, you need to see where the bullet lands in relation to your scope. there is a reason why the + in the scope has lines or dots and that's to WAIT until the bullet lands, memorize and either adjust or compensate. in battlefield 2042 the moment you shoot the st*pid F*ck makes a bolt cycle effectively ruining your chances of correcting anything and that's FU*KING ANNOYING!!!

I was an old bfbc2 player, and after the release of bf3 things were basically the same as you described as the last 3 games they released. It's a shame because they release games way too quickly with lots of bugs that take way too long to fix. This causes the regular players to stay behind and pay full price for a complete shit show, thus leaving it behind and not coming back. For me the BF 2042 is the last game I will buy from them, they have sold a lot of lies, and as long as they don't change it is their loss. Not to mention all the cheaters, and the reward for winning they've pushed for years to get the quick buck. Look at Helldivers 2, now it may be pve but you can buy new dlc by playing the game. The money grab comes from the company executives, not the developers, so it's likely they're trying to release good games at the end of the day. It is the company's choice to discontinue the game so that people have no choice to buy the other new game if they want to play BF, and as long as this continues it will never stop.

As big of a change as removing vehicles? In a a battlefield game? VR was missing from day 1 and improves the experience

This visual recoil change isn't as bad with most weapon as I thought. It's still something I want reduced on most affected weapons. Avancy iron sights bug is funny though. AK iron sights not centered is classic Dice fumble. Many people say guns feel beefier now. Yeah they were a bit like frozen in time before, able to beam enemies at 100-150 meters full auto. That's changed a bit. Recoil or visual recoil, this games been the worst. So far, at least, no massive idiotic time to kill changes.

About single player campaign in Battlefield. I'm one of the people who has been enjoying them. Don't think they're necessary but even now I'm reliving BF 3 campaign. They've always been weird bastard child of the multiplayer, sort of connected but not really. BF2042 writers had a great story for once. And their hard work is not in the game. The clips in trailers, their podcast, player cards and text popping while loading. Great! But it has zero impact to the game. In two years time only thing remotely related to the story has been the Easter eggs which had been really easy compared to previous, and tornados. It's a real shame the story of ruined world, natural disasters hunger war... And we're getting Mackay cheering and wooo yeah cowboy yapping like he's playing football on the beach with his mates. Would the campaign have helped, I don't think so. The quality of the game has been poor, content nonexistent. Sad that story of Irish dies like this. Would have been amazing to see more Pac, Hannah, Riker... Heck even Blackburn, Dima, Miller with the dinosaur. All the Bad Company guys. Now we got cringe life style coaches and thrill seekers going "what a time to be alive!" while soldiers are being shot. Clone Boris knifing a Boris while a third clone Boris watches. No story that the multiplayer can tell.

First time listener here. You're hitting solid banger with comments and predictions. We can trash the game all we want but that doesn't make it better. Sad fact seems to be that Dice is incompetent and amazingly blind to his players will react to the moves they're making. That's the worst bit, they do not know what they're doing. Angering old and new fans. Giving mediocre product. We'll see how the next one goes. Might will be the last one.

it's been dead since release. Yes they improved it a lot but it's still trash, just not as bad as at launch lol.

On the question of how does Xbox make any money off game pass, I'd argue that MS is a trillion dollar company and can outspend the others and sustain game pass subscription numbers not growing at the rate they want. Right now they want the subscribers off rival platforms. It's a form of financing doping. Flooding the market with Game Pass and kill off the competitors. But what happens when the competition is killed off..... If the platform holders were a soccer team they would have to operate under financial fair play. If they were operating in the steel industry, they couldn't dump cheaper steel at a loss to kill off rivals like China did.
