Still one of the best "reality" shows. This was made before social media was popular. They would air the competition on TV and the "reality" component was online. I really liked this format because it captured both sides of the competition without watering anything down. This type of show should be brought back, it was very entertaining and would be incredibly popular these days.
over a decade later, I still can't figure out why the hell she had to write that garbage down.... How could she not remember that dribble? Too bad.. great voice but needs a song writer. Since I haven't heard anything from her since this show, I guess she never found one.
Years later it still strikes me as weird that she had to write that crap down. She said barely anything. He rips it up and puts some actual thought into what he comes up with and goes in there just him. All she says is take my hand to magic land and can't get through it without notes. P.S. - how the hell is that all she could come up with???
I'm not trying to, what I'm trying to do is defend a friend. I've met Lukas before, and I've talked to him on Facebook, and he's a really nice guy, who happens to have an awesome voice.
I love Rock cyphers especially when they play off each other's lyrics... Lukas went suicidal with his lyrics & Dilana made it fun lol weird but it worked although she needs more work on her song writing, Lukas had the slow tempo so he kinda had an advantage though.
@htownrock it's just too bad that she can't write lyrics worth a crap... the lyrical content of this little song was great until the part that she wrote... but she does have a good voice
I think Lukas is great, but not for the band. The band sucked..much like phatgonk said about being out of touch. Dilana sounds awesome in this song even though the lyrics suck. I think the 2 would do great songs together.
A lot of people state things like Dilana "had no talent" and Lukas was "creative". Dilana was the essence of rock 'n' roll with depth, Lukas was the soul of sullen artist in work.
ok i would just like to point something out. Lukas was by far the best creative mind and song writer on the show. These lyrics are deep, powerful and on the spot! And he didnt even write them down! Dilana made up some stupid chorus just like all her other poorly written stuff and needed paper to remember it. This shows the musical genius of Rossi.
Wow. When I saw Lukas' name on this, I was prepared to be disappointed. Now I can see why he won though: he's a good supporting singer, and that's what Supernova was looking for. I think Dilana and Lukas could have made a good duo though.
He is different, they both are different. I liked Dilana more because of her personality, she is more upbeat and hyper than lukas could ever dream of being. Plus, the smokey voice gets to me. Lukas just has an awkward presence when he was on stage for the supernova show, he would be good on a record where you can't see him, but watching a concert with him standing there singing I would indeed "slit my wrists anyway"

Kinda makes you wonder if this show was rigged the 2 most talented are showcased at the beginning and they finish 1-2.Seems pre-determined to me and how did that Ryan dude make it so far?He was brutal.Preshow deal?
I thought they were a good fit on this song with his calmness and her craziness. I can't really criticize Dilana's songwriting because she was singing the chorus\hook while Lucas was singing the main part. Dilana still rocks though!

Lukas, my friends may be an aquired taste--but once aquired you will respect and appreciate his brand of music--& he is special, & gifted.
