EF1 tornado with a tornado emergency isnt a thing you see very often!

Was the tornado that hit hawley tx not a tornado emergency? Ef3 170mph winds

I was in Oklahoma during the big April outbreak and let me just say it was terrifying. I live in a part of Oklahoma that doesn’t usually get hit by these powerful storms in this whole entire day. Everything felt… Off I knew it wasn’t just any sort of storm this was some sort of powerful storm and it wasn’t good. Good thing is however is that we did not get hit, but we did get a few tornado warnings but other than that no tornadoes thankfully I honestly feel really bad for the people who were hit by these tornadoes though.

coulda sworn there was a tornado emergency for okc given that it was in the middle of the night and at some point 4 tornadoes were on the ground

A tornado alert was issued on Cass County IL and my family and me were in this situation and we had some destruction despite the medium winds on 3/31/23

The 1st Michigan Tornado Emergency happened this year which is wild, i saw it happen on my radar app live. It weakened before it reached my area though thankfully

8:17 I was in this one. Very scary. Luckily it dissipated before hitting Union City, or else I would've taken a direct hit.

heads up, pretty sure u missed one from florida, near miami i’m pretty sure. it was an ef3 and they declared a tornado emergency, it was during hurricane milton i’m sure

4/26/24 was still the scariest EAS event I've ever been apart of. I've never in my life have heard the wording "Tornado Emergency" from a storm that I've been in. Not to mention that my city was also hit by a pretty big tornado as it touched down near my neighborhood. Thankfully it missed my house but just seeing the tornado as it hits Elkhorn, Minden & Tennant got tears in my eyes as I've never seen a tornado that big since living in the south. Truely a day to remember.

i was watching the max velocity live stream during the ky tornado and i was watched the whole thing… he did a great job preparing the people… we all were so scared for everyone in that tornado… tragic day.😢😢 my dad was in ky during that tornado❤❤ he is ok he said it was scary receiving the tornado emergency alert on his phone.

An emergency over an EF-1? hell the storms we have here in the UK had stronger winds than that.

I remember the april 26th ones so vividly. I was just tracking them with a bunch of other weather trackers in a discord server. So many multi-vortex tornadoes came from that monster storm. I just remember hoping that people would be okay. Probably one of the worst days I've seen in 2024
