Hey no problem . I enjoyed the video and subbed. Thanks for the quick response. So basically i dont need to go to the website you went to or any other source to download dlss since a game that supports dlss in its settings already has the dlss file built into it right? The only reason needed to download a specific version of dlss is if the game which already has , say dlss3.5 isnt updated to dlss3.7, so you would sort of download the 3.7 version and force this updated version into the game yeah ? Am i understanding correctly? Bear with me im so sleepy so i might not be making any sense lol. Thanks again for this awesome video​@pctechandgames

@@user-wo5oc5du6u you don't have to download anything unless you want to try newer versions of dlss. Some games will not support a manual update. Most games will update just fine. Yes, most games you can force an update to the newer versions with the download.

Same. 3080 Here plenty of horsepower. I usually get 2nd hand anyway so a 5080 down the line will be way less.

Same, probably going to be the 9070 xt if the price rumors of $480 are true and they improved their raytracing where it's actually usable. Even Intel got raytracing right and they have been making gpu's for far less time than AMD.

@@pctechandgames its absolutely an amazing card and have served me well, suprised it still has water left in it though. (watercooled version, dont know how to refil it with distilled water) i dont know what i should use it for once i get an upgrade though

There are regular 4070's going for very cheap right now as well as used 4070 supers for low prices. Probably the best frames per dollar if you still want ray tracing.

Very True. It's just the way they are marketing it is shadey. Not many 5080 - 5090 owners are gonna want to rely on DLSS. I barely use it on a 3080.

@pctechandgames yeah man, the marketing this time around was fucked, imo they should have showed "hey watch how new cards can do from start ( and show some best case scenario games with 30-40% uplift without dlss and etc ), but also you can use our new AI features to get even more fps and quality ( now show the crazy 200%+ performance uplift with ai and etc ), and all this for cheaper then previous gen" - imo that will be so much better and so less people crying.

Dlss on quality setting is ok and to be honest I don't notice the difference, any more though and the AI upscaler doesn't have enough information to guess what fine details such as distant signs with text should have on them.

They think frame gen is the answer to their inability to increase performance more.

I don't understand this argument people seem to keep making about the 5070 being a complete disappointment. A 20-30% increase from the original base models and a 10-20% increase from the previous generations juiced up model has been a very consistent theme with most GPU's since forever. The only exception to this was the 20 series to the 30 series jump as there was a huge technological leap in CUDA core technology. The 4070 to 5070 comparison is completely reasonable from Nvidia's claims as well as speculation based on specifications, only real benchmarking will tell the full picture. But if everything is as it seems then the 5070 and 5070 ti are perfectly reasonable upgrades, AND they're cheaper? Even completely ignoring DLSS these GPU's seem like a fine upgrade across the board, the only real criticism I see is that a 2025 GPU should be shipping with 16GB VRAM at a baseline, no questions asked. I feel like the AI boogeyman has really gotten into peoples heads and they're looking for things to latch onto to shoot this card down. DLSS in of itself isn't bad, in fact it's absolutely incredible technology and will only improve with time and will likely be the future whether we like it or not. The real concern should be targeted towards game development studios which are becoming increasingly dependent on DLSS to hide their inability to optimise their games.

@@mrforgo I think the whole 5070 = 4090 thing is what has people in a weird uproar. But yeah the performance is on par with gen to gen increase. I only use DLSS in single player games personally.

@@internetconspiracy7525 I can see what you're saying but these raw numbers don't predict precisely the performance of the hardware, as I mentioned, real benchmarking is going to be the determining factor and personally I can't wait for it, I feel it's going to be a real make or break moment for Nvidia especially with Intel and AMD squeezing the budget and mid range market. If Nvidia's claims are true on their promotional material then these cards will be in a really good position in the market especially with how DLSS performs in some games but if they fall short it could be a great thing for us as maybe it will force Nvidia's hand into making the 5070 Super models have a lot more raw power.

@@pctechandgames also the one and only Faust fight - people with all kinds of hardware are getting issues there. I have 3060Ti/5700X3D and it tanks there so badly i had to cheese this fight on all of my playthroughs - get the saiga with expansive ammo and wreck havoc while having to deal with 15fps

@@charleslewy6186 I get no higher than 70°C on sadly only a dual fan design. I trade LOUD ASS fans for a COOL GPU ANY day. Go 2 your AMD ADRENALIN software Hit > performance "tab" > tuning then find & ENABLE fan tuning & set ur custom Fan speed curve. If ur card is old & dirty cleaning the heatsink CAREFULLY (after u took it out of ur case of course) might help also maybe ur thermal paste turned into a prehistoric river bed & needs replacement. Watch some YT vids how 2 disassembled ur RX 5700 XT & don't rush ANY thing & don't use cheap thermal paste. Tested so far on The Isle Evrima, DayZ, BeamNG & Dead Space remake. Tomorrow i will test it on Manor Lords. Its so much better than me old GTX 1070 OC..

@@pctechandgames I keep my gpu fans on 35% because I like them silent. I have 3 intake fans on the front and 2 exhaust fans on the back and top back. no fans on the bottom though. I undervolted my 5700 xt yesterday and so far my temps have been 15c cooler though which is really nice.
