This play just looks like a poor excuse for a stage version of Tim Burton's brilliant film.

YES. D: LOL I get confused when watching these because hes described as a clumsy character... I MEAN WTF. How does he not end up hurting something or someone with the blades while dancing?!

... Now I feel like I was wrong to seriously think that Edward would look good doing ballet... Hes supposed to look clumsy... Not graceful exactly... But I wonder if my opinion would change if I saw this whole show? Maybe on ICE? xD I love ballets on ice... lol

Is that the ballet version? On one of my many visits to London with my parents we were walking through leicester square when I saw a poster for it and I was all "OMJ! Can we go see that." and my mum was all "It's at Sadler's Wells. That's ballet. I don't you'd like it." It didn't look like a ballet from the poster xD. I really wanna see it, but it isn't on anymore T_T

So it's ok for you to have movies based on stage plays, and musicals, but not the opposite way around? please for your sake do not go see the lion king, beauty and the beast, and the little mermaid on the stage.

I wish I could go on that musical, it's such a pity they've stopped touring around America. It's just a beautiful story, no matter, the movie, the musical...It's touching and makes us feel something new about ourselfs, if there's anything to change...if there's anything bad or good inside. Tim Burton is a god damn GENIUS.

The guy don't fits Edward. Not because it's not Johnny Depp, I think it just doesn't fit. I also think he's kinda ugly :P ruined the movie.

This movie has always made me cry ever since I was a kid.....I love absolutely everything about this movie.

of course, no one could replace johnny depp as edward scissorhands... but give the play a chance its not the movie itself. give it a rest. :/

I believe so. The city that I moved to stopped playing it half a year before I came ;w; I think that was the last time they had that performance too. i so wanted to see it

I've got to say, although this does look fantastic, I prefer the movie by the looks of this trailer. The guy who plays Edward seems to be an epic dancer, but I don't think he's quite captured Edward as a character. He's supposed to be a recluse, very shy, but he often seems rather pleased here. Although it's great acting, I just don't think it suits

I'm so sorry about your breakup with your boyfriend. I hope you're doing okay. It must be so hard for you. Yes, this song is really beautiful. Edward Scissorhands is one of my favorite soundtracks. It amazes me that somone can compose a piece of music like this. It plugs me right into Heaven. I can't explain it, it's just beyond beautiful.

i saw this play like 2 yrs ago at the ahmanson theatre. man, it made me cry. it was awesome n beautiful. specially the snow angel part and dance. dude who played him got a standin ovation.
