My KP36 and I had a blast going to this beautiful road attacking the corners, but as you will see in the video I had to slow down a bit because at some parts of the road had ice and it was very slippery.Also I'm terribly sorry about the sound quality, my phone wasn't design to withstand such big amount of desibels. Sooo...,here we go again,this is my 2K,it has a 288 adv. duration 10,14mm lift on both intake an exhaust,currently she was running on 98/162 jets on an aisin 22/24mm made one from 4K venturi pieces.The engine was burning a lot of oil from the valve stem seals,now I will fix the problem,I will also port the head to about 32mm inlet and just a good ported exhaust eith 36mm intake valves from a 3K...

My stock 2K Engine that I got out of my KP36 is finally out!And I think for the first time you can see how a 2K looks like!It really is almost identical to other K engines,but the block is lighter,the crank is 1kg lighter than my 3K's crank,which is 10,5 kilos,and the 2K is almost 9 to 9,5 ,also the combustion chambers are very small,the intake valves are like 34mm and 28mm on the exhaust side,...
A Quick Tip For Those Who Want to Sand Off/Repaint Their Oil Pan

So...,here it is!Such an easy solution,you basically cut a carton bigger than your oil pan size,and then glue it together with hot glue.It's easy as hell,and you don't have to worry about paint,dust,and other things getting in to your oil pan ;)

When my 2K was functional,I had a set of used SR20DET valve springs,that they had less valve seat pressure,but hold tight at almost 7500rpm,yes,stock ones were better,I think the fact that they were worn out had to do with it,and afterwards,now at the video,I made a comparison of stock ones,SR20 and stock B16 Honda integra valve springs For more info,check my instagram account:@Le_magic_Spatoula

She really sounds sorry...😢,after that exact video I opened the oil cap as usual,but what I saw was the cursed "white glime" from water mixed with oil,itwas horrible.I might rebuild it,I might not,I don't know,but now i'm going full rebuild,all or nothing!My next step,if this does not work is a 3K/4K engine rebuild from the straight block to a street machine!I already fixed my twin carbs,but no...

What is the maximum speed? Mine is 2k and it reaches a maximum of 100kmh
On what gear?
4th
1. 20 kmh 2. 50kmh 3. 70kmh 4. 100kmh Am I doing something wrong, or is it just my vehicle that is not giving any more?
By the way, I'm from Guatemala and you have very good content about KP
Check your distributor timing,then your carburettor if it works properly and after that you should consider if your 2K is tired.Most of the time tho 2Ks can reach more than 140kms @@juanjoseortiz1315

3K engine with some compression weber 38/38 and a cam
I have a Mitsubishi Lancer equipped with a 4G13 12 valve 1.3 engine and i read on google that it produces 75 horsepower at 5800 Rpm. I am amazed what my engine can do. I will rebuild it.
Do it man,small cc and high reving,no torque engines are the best!
@@toyotakp-36channel72 yes . I loved small cc engine. Mine can do 6000 Rpm i didn't want to do more because I'm afraid, I used a Piston type carburetor and it was very Responsive

That's a mechanical distributor, right ? with the capacitor, the points etc. How did you get to make a 3rd party rev counter work for this ? all the rev counters I was able to find require an electronic-type signal, and plugging my counter into the factory dizzy got me idle revs at ~3000rpm because of the spark signal isn't clean enough... If you just plugged it in and it works, I'd like to know what's the model of your rev counter. And if you did some mods to your ignition, I'd like to know what those were ! :-) Thanks, and greetings from Belgium ;-)
Unfortunately,this rev counter is the usual 3 wire counter,nothing special,it really was a beaty to drive with this 3K tho,now i'm going with a version absolute,since the block is brand new,i want to port a head and get some valves to it and that's it

@@toyotakp-36channel72 but the thing is in stock condition it wont spin the car... So i am thinking of some turbo or anything... If there is something you know that can help tge engine produce more power let me know
@@imrankhan-sk3hz just put a larger 4K or even 5K maybe 7K,depends on where you live,and you'll be more than fine,the little 2K the best it can produce is 60/65hp fully worked,and that's not even close at what a stock 3K will produce

Love that sound...I owned on in the 80s'...I want to find one and restore it.
It depends on where you live,here in balkans they are fairlt easy to be found,especially the car that I own the KP36 pickup.Now i'm rebuilding an engine,first crank will be around march,it will be a 1077cc K engine,with 3K block,75mm pistons and 2K crank (61mm stroke)

It sounds more like a synchronization issue or air leak.
@@TheDutchGarage nah,they had 098 primaries,it's natural(it was running tooo rich) 092 is the original primary for the single one
That could be but on idle primaries are doing almost nothing.
@@TheDutchGarage still,idlers 47s' jets and 098s' are connected when fuel goes through the idlers,a little bit of fuel is sprayed from primaries too

The Dutch Garage New video is coming up next month,hopefully the 3K-B twin carbs will work just fine.I will be the only person modifying a 2K engine!
Toyota KP-36 Channel 2k engine isnt bad, you just need to rev it to get some power. And these ars are about fun. They dont need that mutch.
The Dutch Garage all the fun is about revving it hard,I recently open the heads,the engine was at a great condition,and of course I will try keep it like this
