I'm glad you liked it Sandra. Sadly B.W. Stevenson passed away in 1988 at the very young age of 38. Yes Parker and I are enjoying this cool weather, that's for sure.

Oh I love this one, first time hearing it. I love the sound of his voice, it didn't change too much when he got older, maybe a bit deeper. We should get some good walks. high temperatures will be in the low 70s. Parker loves the cooler weather. I will have to check out that song. I don't believe I have ever heard it.

Good one Ron, I just came in rom a 20 mintue walk around 2 blocks, I still have knee disconfort it jus will not go away
Thanks Greg. I'm glad you liked it. Sorry that your knee is still causing you discomfort. Getting older ain't for sissies that's for sure. Arthritis is kicking my butt. I'm still having lots of pain in my right thumb after surgery that I had in April. As soon as that is completely healed, then I get to have the same surgery on my left thumb.

Dumb question, that I am sure you probably dont know, but why in the world is the 1980 album missing off of spotify, they have all the others. Matter in fact finding their 1980 album online for streaming seems almost impossible... Also, none of their greatest hits contain any of the songs from this album...

Oh hey Ron just love the way Waylon sings these good songs of Buddy Holly's. They were such good friends. I think Waylon never forgave himself when they were joking with each other, Buddy said he hoped Waylon's bus crashed, then Waylon joked, I hope your plane crashes. He apparently didn't like Merle Haggard after he had taken a lot of money from him while playing cards, I think be must have cheated on Waylon when Waylon was already going through a bad time with money.
