So I borrowed their first album from my buddy in highschool in 2000. I never gave it back and then met my wife two years later. Ironically it was her CD. My buddy had borrowed it from her and never gave it back lol.

I was looking for a live recording to see if the background screaming would be in there and its the fucking drummer doing it! Love it.

I've never enjoyed seeing a band perform live more than Hurt. They played a small venue called "The Basement" in Columbus, OH, and they sounded just as amazing if not better live. J, you rocked out the violin 17 years ago whilst screaming your heart out . There has never been another band to compare to you when it comes to a live performance.

Miss these dudes. What a talented group. VOL. 1 Holds a special place in my heart. This album is so underrated. Glad Rapture got its momenent. Wish they had more acclaim. Even Vol. II was a strong sophomore album.

Earshot were the shit! Crazy how they never really reached “success” sure video games and radio play but they should have had more success.

This band has been with me for so long! The first minute I heard them (a show at a casino in San Diego) I knew they were true artists. Thank you for making such amazing music for so many years! In the music industry, it is a very difficult thing to make genuine art and do it consistently with creative integrity. For authentic musical artists, the industry is essentially a hostile and nearly impossible climate. Props to Hurt for making the kind of music that changes and enriches people's lives.

Will never understand why this band didn’t at least get big enough to be a regularly touring band who’s well known by the hard rock genre. The Vol 2 album was something way ahead of it’s time in my opinion. Shame they never got the respect they deserved.
