I have a rough draft idea for a complete rework of Thermo's mechanics. Let me know what you all think of the following changes I'm about to suggest: *[THERMOFIST REWORK]* 1: "HEAT" mechanic renamed to "ADRENALINE" 2: "ADRENALINE" gain rate from using skills somewhat reduced, but "ADRENALINE" passive decay rate (both in and out of combat) is significantly slower. 2.5: Successfully dealing damage to enemies with Thermofist attacks will grant bonus ADRENALINE, proportionate to the damage dealt. Conversely, TAKING damage will drain a portion of your ADRENALINE meter, again proportionate to the damage you receive. 3: The "ADRENALINE" bar now has the ability to "Overflow", up to a maximum of 150%. While Adrenaline is overflowing, the "ADRENALINE" bar visually flashes and appears on fire. 3.5: While under the effects of overflowing Adrenaline, all of your attacks gain significantly increased characteristics; attacks deal more damage, have larger impact radii, and come out even faster than before. As a risky drawback, you are also much more vulnerable to damage while Adrenaline is overflowing, and any damage you do take will immediately deplete most, if not all "overflowed" Adrenaline. The idea of these changes and reworks is to make Thermo the ideal fast-paced, hyperaggressive fighting style it was meant to be; rewarding quick thinking and skillful management of the Adrenaline (heat) bar. Overextending your aggression can be costly with the excess damage you'll be receiving if you take damage while adrenaline is overflowing, and damage you do take will immediately knock a good chunk of Adrenaline from the bar. So basically, anything with massive AoE attacks will counter this fighting style hard, but pretty much anything else had better pray to whatever god they believe in.
