Mark and the gang are killin' it. Wish the horns were a permanent part of his band (HINT MARK) 😁
I came to see the Roland in action but stayed for the song. I never heard it before and am surprised that many in the audience knew the words. I thought it was an original. Great performance. As for the drum, can you ask the drummer if there is a control for the eq? I would be concerned that the kick or toms get too muddy and would like the ability to tweak them individually. Thanks.
A classic “outlaw country” song (if you didn’t learn that recently)
That's a great version, very cool
Nice job, guys! Nice solos.
Hi dad
what is the track ? love it
Thanks! It's an old country tune from Waylon Jennings, "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way".
@@gjorgenson thanks from you i'm french but i'll try ;) very nice groove i don't understand the lyrics for the moment but i'll check
Are you using a kick trigger with your foot?
Wow. My uncle Mike was the frontman for that band. Amazing find on you tube to see a glimpse of him on stage doing what he loved to do. Thank you

😍😍😍
Seeing him in a couple weeks at the "Best little blues bar in all of Houston" The Green Oaks Tavern.
Nice ! I am a hobby guitarist but would like to learn some basic drumming to do some homerecording. Living in an appartement so space is limited and I have to mind the neighbours ( hitting noisy pads with a stick is not an option . The handsonic seems a good solution for me. In ypur opinion would it be possible for a non drummer to learn to play drum rhythms with this instrument ? I have very limited experience with some basic beats.
Hi Denis, You should take a look at Superior Drummer 3 from Toontrack.com. It's pretty amazing software in that you can create killer drum tracks without being a drummer. Here's at link: www.toontrack.com/product/superior-drummer-3/
@@gjorgenson Thanks , I know this software and it sounds really great. I could use this software in conjunction with the roland via midi. I understand that there is a midi grid in the software to "program" rhythms but I enjoy more playing the rhythms myself .
Best bluesman since SRV.😎
there's been others you could say the same thing about, Arlo West for one. but alas, they kinda let their star power time pass them by.. That said, Mark May is just fking Great! lol I heard the ole Telephone Road stuff.. Geez. He's still kicks ass on this performance! Dennis 62 years Austin, Tx
I thought this was Gatlingurg......LOVE the shirts!
What is it about this video that makes my boring computer speakers light up with sound details and stereo????? Wowie....
Mark can rippppp it!
These guys are great!!
Sweet
saw them Friday night at Shakespeare in Houston. man they can rock!!!!!
Killer
Mark May kicks that ass!!!!
What a great setting for this song and video. There was a blue sky, maybe it was the end of the day and maybe it was a bit cloudy. You got that red barn or building in the background and then there are those funky lights on the stage. Then of course you got a killer sounding band playing a Southern Rock Classic. And as someone said, the drums do sound quite good. Guitar wise though this is no Allman Brothers Band, far from it. Don't get me wrong, the guitarists are good, with Mark probably being the best on the stage, but they guitarists are not quite like the one's who played for the ABB.
Friggin Awesome!!!
You are.... a great drummer.
Great show. I was there.
Glad to see you back playing again Mark, great jam Bill R. Houston
we no longer have to fear greg butch jai johnny et al going off to the old jam masters home because these guys can carry that torch and smoke your eyebrows while doing so
One Rockin' Band!!
ALWAYS the best!!
Thank you Gary!!!
