Hey do you have snakes or scorpions or roaches that get inside your dorms? I have no idea how bad bugs are in japan
Occasionally during the summer roaches come up the drain to the bathroom but never seen snakes or scorpions on base

Depends what base you are stationed at i happen to get full some people in other bases get twin bed

Erica Earl no the nco dorms are bigger ive been told they are like the rooms at the kanto they even have their own kitchen
When you get orders to go overseas instead of being stationed stateside, how long do you have to be there before you can come back to the states? And can you get your first assignment overseas does that guarantee you to get your orders to be overseas too?
So in bmt i believe its your 5th week you select the bases you want to choose i had 4 or 5 bases overseas and 4 or 5 stateside it all depends on manning for your career field where you get to go, i got lucky and got yokota ab your next base after you can change your bases and seewhere they need people
How are the maintenance dorms?

Heading there in January from Ramstein. All dorms pretty much the same there or do the different building have different room set ups?
medical, admin, some mechanical careers have the nice dorms with a big room, 3 closets and a private bathroom

I’m going into the Air Force as security forces this June! Is it hard getting this base? Or can you switch with someone to get it ??? I need this base
Asia Monet' so when you get your orders 3-4 weeks into tech school its going to say what base your going to but it all depends to be honest its all luck if your friend from your team has a base you like and they dont wanna go you can switch with them

Go to Thailand and get a scuba cert. Island of Koh Chang assessable by ferry only. They have a diving club you can take course and obtain a PADI card. This card certifys you can dive all over the world.
