Looks like a great aircraft, however, cannot understand as to why the price could not be a bit lower, say in the $220-230k range. What are the prices of well looked-after, used Petrels? Are there some available? Does Petrel offer its own in-house pilot training / familiarization?

it looks like you can also land in salt water with this aircraft - what is the maximum wave height for a safe landing?

Zenith 701 with floats or Zenith 801 with floats are much cheaper, but just as good!

When will we see the new XP 915SI in Florida?

I knew about this aircraft since 2006 and flew one in Rio Claro back in 2015. I chose the searey over this design because of the ability to open the canopies independently while in flight.

Looks great……….too bad you can’t fly with the canopy open.

Actually the Searey set the benchmark for all LSA amphibians.

Very disappointing to see that the cost of the new version of this aircraft has gone up by almost $100,000 US in the last couple of years… ($289,000 USD…$389,000 CAD)…With prices like that, this company is clearly only interested in selling to a very, very small select group.
