Polymega Gameplay Sample - Crash Bandicoot
PLEASE READ:
I am not affiliated with Playmaji in any way and have no financial gain from this video; just a Polymega owner who wanted to record some gameplay with the system he purchased himself. I'm pretty happy with the system personally and feel the emulation is solid, but I am no means an expert.
- System version is 1.1.21
- I am using the built-in BIOS for systems that require one
- I have the Temporal Blur setting turned on which reduces the jitter from 480i content
- All games recorded are ripped from my physical collection so some audio skips MAY be from the quality of the disc ripped, however this isn't meant to be a catch-all excuse for any emulation issues
- Capture device I'm using...

The basic Overworld theme to "Hermie Hopperhead". This game was Sony's attempt at a platformer, and was released in Japan only in 1995. Deemed "too difficult" for children, this game never hit U.S. shelves. As a personal all time favorite game of mine, I decided to rip the jazzy soundtrack and post part on RUclips. Is the console worth it ? I was having my doubts with only 2 gb of ram on this thing. Any ghosting when playing on 1080p or is it sharp quality? Cheers
I've been pretty happy with it and impressed with the emulation quality (especially Saturn). Don't think I can recommend it for the current price point, but they are talking about releasing a free app later this year that contains their emulators and OS for use on PC, Android, Steam Deck, etc. so that might be something to try before committing to getting a unit. Their production is notoriously slow (took me about 3 years to get mine) but that's supposedly going to get better this year. As for ghosting, I haven't really come across any and everything looks sharp. The one exception is when I play a 480i game with their anti-jitter filter applied.
@@Eggman4527 Much appreciated for the honest info mate. Will also wait to see if they pick up production and lower the price. This machine literally has like 60-70 dollars worth of components and it costs like ps5. I don't see the justification for this except artificial price inflation to make the product more ''desirable '' among people as a novelty or something ? The chip shortages excuse I think ended long ago I was mainly interested because i Love the feel of plugging my own cds and cartridges as old school still has the magic.

This is the very first game I played in PS1 and then Twisted metal 1. Great platforming game with outstanding music. Somehow the game seems to forgotten years later.
Ce jeu est une pure merveille, le scrolling en parallaxe, les effets de lumière dans la forêt, l'ondulation dans l'eau, la bande son, l'animation en 60fps extrêmement vive, le look des personnages, la notice du jeu très colorée (le jeu est vendu avec des stickers auto-collants des personnages du jeu !), si on cherchait le Super Mario Bros de la PS1, on l'a trouvé ! Mais effectivement, c'est trèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèès dur (et frustrant)

It is weird, the description says this game never hit the U.S. shelves yet I remember playing this way back when I was a little girl, I used to take extra care of my eggs just so they'd hatch into cute animals. God I used to LOVE that game.

*STILL* the most intense Baseball game around!! Muafuckas out there swapping bats for bigger ones the size of their *bodies* when its home run time, straight up _sluggin_ the pitcher on poor pitches, breaking bats in half after a strikeout, umpire always looking _PISSED OFF_ and of course... The epic stare down between the Pitcher and Batter in the _Ultimate Battle of Wits_ all while this song is blasting in the background!!!

This game was forgotten in mind as i was too young to remember the spelling of this game nor the proper name of this game . but this theme is always running in my mind (not remembering the whole music only some part) on and off from the first time i plyed this game when i was 8 till now 21 . this was a hard game back in the days when i was a kid, i guess this was my roots of hardcore gaming come from (,: plyed this game when i was 8 then it was forgotten..but the theme lingers in my brain.
