I am heartbroken over this LP decision. Chester Bennington's music literally saved my life as I have battled major depression and severe anxiety since my teenage years. I am 63 now. In no way does anyone associated with Scientology have the right to sing Chester's songs they do not even believe in.

Her statement screamed corporate/PR-driven for me for sure, and someone looking over her shoulder (OSA), just with the very safe and vague wording that would be open to interpretation. But some people who are blindly wanting to support her and give her a "chance" until there's more solid evidence (I don't know how much evidence you need right now), are accepting it. That statement has since also been deleted. Some people are making the point, that if you listen to the newest song from Linkin Park with Scientology in mind. It might be her quiet quit/leaving.

I don't know anything about Scientology besides it accepts "everyone (mostly those who are intelligent enough)" who accepts it's rules. Even if Emily Armstrong is a Scientologist it doesn't bother me, because I don't care about it.😂 I would rather hear more of Emily screams and clean vocals then about her background. Wait! That's the same mistake I'm making as those who didn't care about Chester's feelings and background. We don't want another tragedy for Linkin Park, but treat Emily with respect. My spouse is a HUGE Linkin Park fan, and she followed that group since their first big song became a hit. She was not impressed when she she got a youtube suggestion showing LP's new material. That was before she knew anything about the scientology connection. Now she's FURIOUS!!!
