Добавлен 18 ноя 2011
Marion Landry is a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA (2016) and MFA (2023) from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She has exhibited internationally since 1999.
Landry's art practice prioritizes the embodied experience of painting and is grounded in a phenomenological approach. She creates site-adjusted installations that use light, temperature, and traditional painting techniques to immerse viewers in a sensory experience. Her geometrical compositions draw inspiration from iconic optical strategies, positioning her work in dialogue with the possibilities of abstraction in contemporary art.
Previously, Landry worked as a 3D artist from 1996 to 2018. For the last 10 years of her career, Landry worked as the Technical Marketing Manager for Autodesk, where she focused on Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design. In her role she contributed to the writing of multiple white papers and was awarded for best speaker at Autodesk University

I casually hung this painting on an existing nail of my office without giving it much thought. However, my attention was drawn to the stunning moment when the rising sun perfectly aligned with the pattern of the artwork. It felt like serendipity, prompting me to capture it! The documentation showcases the sunrise and sunset that occurred on November 25th, 2023, reflected on the painting Untitle...

Excellent!! Diamond Dust is my favorite followed by Configuration #85.
I love this! Such an interesting use of time and light! The Diamond Dust painting was my favorite, seeing the pattern reveal it self and change over time was beautiful.

NO CFD Importer in 3ds max 2023??? - does anyone know how to import CFD in 3ds max 2023
awesome teacher
9 years have passed since this. There is no development of the tool. You cannot make segments wider, make branches, add elevators, change moves/stances, use custom people etc. That is sad. On the other hand it incites to explore some other cool tools, like tyflow and even other 3d editors. Thanks for the video anyway.
No more yoga?

Hi Abdou, thank you for your comments.
You are not of American descent, you are not British, you may be of Asian descent because you say the words intermittently.

help me...... can i change the size of characters in 3Ds max 2015 Populate.....?
Nice. +
Hi Marion. Awesome-awesome tutorial! This video is four years old and still better than anything else I have come across. I'm new to Max so I have a million questions............but I'll keep this to just a few hundred. :-) You talk about copying the assembly into a new location setup for Max. Other(newer) videos I have seen don't mention this. Is this still best practise or has Max advanced to where we can safely import the model from where we initially saved it? That's my big question, so I'll stop now. Once again, kudos to you for such an informative video!!......even the bit about the unit setup. Soooo important but no one else even mentios it. Cheers, Karl.
Thnnnxu My Dear
