What is the size of the letter A you are working on? I want to work on my letters, d,e,h,m, and need an idea of a size to precut my fabric.

Since you have the chart can’t you choose your own fabric count to use?

O Lorna....I do wish I could be with you to hug and comfort you. Please know: I, too am Bi-Polar. It is a situation that is in my Family. I still have my 21 year old granddaughter living with me...she has been with me since she was born-- why?? Because my daughter...her Mother...also has/was/is Bi-polar. There is also a 15 year old granddaughter that thru medication has been able to provide her with calmness and even feelings very successfully! But all of this has taken time! It has taken years of using and trying various medications and therapies to get us to this mostly even life. Yes...therapy, hospitalization, medication, all of those have helped us get to a mostly successful life. My daughter is 41, I'm 72, granddaughters are 15 and 21 and my son is 43. And we have learned that while we are comfortable talking about it...some are not. And I feel they are ok to have their feelings, but our way of talking about it is the best way to deal with it. So.... While some comments may upset others...not everyone will be upset. In fact...you may help another confront their life in a better way because of you! You are loved! Keep stitching and bringing joy to others!

You bought some good things, I ordered them today because I was asked to, and I was being kind to myself, so I bought 1 sleeping teddy bear in an 11ct set, and a pack of needle threaders.🤣

I use Airo floss (it is a poly cotton blend), I love it! I use a little wettex sponge rolled up in a container with water then run the floss over it. I wax the ends and clip it off.

What a fun haul, I love William Morris as well. We have a restaurant up the road from us ‘The strawberry thief’ incredible Decor everything William Morris. His work is amazing

Yay! A non-Friday video! How nice! I too, was misled by Temu. I got the same silicone fabric clips and they were so short that I clipped off the magnets and just use them for needle minders. I have the William Morris book as well. It is very nice.

I like your plans and how you put so much thought into which projects you will be bringing with you this year. As you put each stitch in I believe it will bring a smile you to. As for speaking about your mental health struggles, if you are comfortable sharing then do so. The more we hide our struggles, yes I am disabled, the longer it will be before as a society we learn to accept each others differences. Take care

AGING EYES XSTITCH HINT - I am new to your videos. Hello from NewJersey, USA! I have aging eyes. I learned that if the cross stitch charts are too small to see - I take a photo of them with my phone and I can enlarge the image as much as I want!! Those Temu kit prices were amazing! - my fav was the bird in vase! I love trees and birds too! Happy stitching in 2025! 🥳

I want to thank you for your help with the cat alphabet, you are an amazing person. I am going to call my eye dr next week to schedule my eye surgery to be done sooner than later. I’m a little nervous but the sooner I get it done the sooner I can return to more of my stitching. I am only doing small pieces for now. Thank you bunches.

Happy New Year, Luna. I commend you discussing your bipolar condition. I see nothing wrong with it. My sister had bipolar, but hers was very extreme that she had to be hospitalized many times because of it. At the time it was very hard for me to understand but I understand now that it was a condition that she had. Back then it was stigmatized and nobody would talk about it but it is like discussing diabetes or any other thing. I am sorry you were subjected to hurtful comments. As far as that person is concerned, she can check out other flosstubes if it made her uncomfortable. I love your videos because you are so genuine and kind and I love to see you share your projects. Keep being you. ❤

I’m going in between 2 projects right now. My HAED and Quaker Turtle. I used those water soluble water pens from Temu and it did not wash off my fabric. I soaked it for a long time too. So make sure u test them before u mark up ur fabric. I hear what ur saying about feeling out of sort because of mental illness around people. My girls have grown up with me trying different meds and in and out of a mental health facility because I use to get manic. I felt like they didn’t get a good mom because of my bipolar. But they love me unconditionally. I’m blessed to have them in my life. Happy stitching 🇺🇸✂️🧵🪡❤️

I have had good luck myself in revisiting meds I had initial bad reactions to years before. I guess the second time it wasn't a total shock to my body. For whatever reason, no problem at all the second time I gingerly crept up on it. Your husband is coming right along with his stitching! I am really looking forward to your historical dive into Nordic cross stitch. That is what will always have the most special place in my heart.

Wow you really got some good stitching in!! What I have learned about tent stitches is you go to the furthest end of your stitch leg to get longer lines in the back to make it easier to frog if needed. So if your next leg would normally start lower right to upper left, you would instead do opposite and go to upper left to lower right. You’re basically doing the same thing just instead of going to closest hole, you go to furthest and back. It also uses more floss. If you’re not worried about frogging you really don’t need to worry about it. Sorry if that was confusing I don’t feel I explained it well. Will have to finish later. Time for work.. yuck 😂

Lone, it’s supposed to be three threads for an 11 count and I think your cities would look better in three threads. What you have done in 2024 is amazing! Depression is no joke. I know what you are going through because I have had it many times. Just keep doing what you are doing and you’ll be just fine! 🤗
