SD card support is a major thing for me. As a big mobile gamer I hate I don't have SD card support on my Samsung s23 fe. I like still like to download my music directly to my phone just in case I go broke and can't pay my phone bill anymore lol. I have around 2k-ish songs and it takes up nearly 15GB of internal space

Thanks for your indept review...Fold 1 is a daily driver for me and I find it very useful and I think it is an all rounder.

Have had my Note 20 Ultra for 4 years now and love the phone especially the camera and the internal memory which I have upgraded to 1 TB, even if Samsung doesn't update the phone to the latest version of Android I hope I can keep it at least 4 more years before I'm upgrading to another phone. Due to the expensive battery replacement on foldables it's better to buy the z fold 5 if you buy it used

my note 20 ultra acting strange and slow after the august security update 3 days ago. its sluggish that tap on screen wont working even after restarting the phone. did anybody had the same problem?

I've been using a note 9 as my main phone since it came out but just recently started using the note20 ultra... For me the note20 ultra is the last note phone but the note9 will forever be Samsung's G.O.A.T phone. I really didn't want to let it go but thenote20 ultra is a definite upgrade

In 2024/2025 I'll take the LG V60 because it's more versatile. You get a headphone jack with a hifi quad dac, micro sd card support up to 2TB, smart stylus features just like the ultra with the microsoft bamboo pen, dual screen case to turn it into a foldable and top of some of the stuff the ultra offers like fast charging, wireless charging, beautiful OLED display, not the best but still good cameras, all for a great cheap price 👍🏼👏🏼. I feel like motorola is starting to pick up where LG left off, by keeping headphone jacks and micro sd card support up to 1TB and the new moto g stylus 5g 2024 has 2TB of micro sd card support and is an amazing bang of buck mid range phone👍🏼.

I still have my LG wing. Screen cracked but I'm getting it fixed and keeping it forever. Just because innovation is dead these days. LG wasn't afraid to try different things.

I won't buy another Samsung until they put the Sd card slot back. Expanding memory or I'll keep buying apple products now.

I miss the SD and the 3.5m headphone jack. There was a time when the Note series of phones did everything and had everything but the tech review ppl on the net b*tched that the phone had to much blot so Samsung listened to them and now we dont even get a charging brick 😒

I love my note 20 ultra in still have it but the fold 6 has torn me away. I will always keep my note for a backup

The v60 is the backup device for my 1+ open. The v60 is why I even own the open, I hated the Samsung fold. While I Uber the v60 gets heavy use, the passengers are blown away with the DAC. Regarding Face unlock. LG at the time said they took that away & lowered the screen resolution (1080p) for the customers sake. That way they could offer the phone at a lower price. LG was trying to get out of the red, while also competing with Samsung. Who had the fold and the greater mobile market share.

i think they explained the haptic feedback. They basically turned the thing differently. It use to be side to side and now its top to bottom or something along those lines. So you can feel it more in your pocket but less when its out. I still think its dumb tho

I have the V60 as my back up phone and yes it is a beast. Too bad we won't ever get the V70. LG should put out at least one phone a year, just for me😂

When it first came out i was interested but wasnt going to throw 1k at a phone with midrsnge specs. Just got mine yesterday with a cracked back but clean screen for 170.

One benefit that not widely mentioned is that Global version of Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra it has 2 sim and sd slots. The 2nd sim slot can be shared as a 2nd sd card. If you need more space beyond 1tb of storage, you can add another sd. Newer version of S-series such as s23 doesn't have that capability. Another thing to mention, note 20 has the higher camera and graphics frame rate than the s23. Which strikes me odd that newer s23 was supposed to be an upgrade over previous versions.

Samsung has stepped up their software update game over the past few years, but the main reason I steered clear of Android devices for sometime were the brutally slow release cycle for updates or the latest Android OS issues with devices purchased through specific mobile carriers and the slow rollout. However companies like Samsung, Google and Apple have abandoned these older but still great devices like the Note 20 Ultra or even my S22 Ultra which will soon only receive Android 15 as the last OS update and will continue to receive security updates for 2 more years. They force customers to upgrade and know exactly what they are doing, these devices could still be supported if the would choose to do so but as long as we keep upgrading they will continue to kill off older devices that realistically could still function longer if supported through software updates.

I've been using the S21 Ultra for two years. Love it. In May, I got a used Note 20 Ultra from Amazon. Put my sim card and a 512gb SD card in it. Have been using it since. That said, I do love my S21U also and for me personally, it is better in most ways. Different experience though with an S device and Note.

I have a like new S20 Plus that’s great, prefect display too, but it no longer is receiving security updates so I’m too worried about using it as my main phone anymore. What’s your thoughts on that, sir? I don’t know how to do any custom roms either.

Sorry about what I am about to say, if it offends you😔, to me, if a phone doesn't have SD card expansion, I don't look at it as a favorable phone to me, do you know how many Gb, a 4k or 8k video takes? It's a lot of space, so if it's not a note 20 or s20 ultra and below, i can never never buy except I have a second phone with a memory card expansion, the removal of the SD card expansion and the headphone jack was a no no for me 😢 Quick edit :Stay safe y'all and promote love and peace
