It's not because they are pet lemme tell you there is a black truth behind it tribals take elephant from jungle which are not that big then they lock elephants in one place like cage then they torture them a lot they beat elephant a lot without giving them food and meals after a weaks elephant loss all his memories cause of hunger on that time the incconent elephant don't know what's going on he was craving for hunger and after a week tribals give them food then the elephant who was craving after getting that food he thought he is the only one saviour of me I will do what he want the tribals manipulated the elephant mind by his whole life so please bycott the rides of elephants and take stand against it through government

Even though they’re huge, elephants actually get back issues because they’re not supposed to carry heavy weight and it is not good for them to carry humans. On top of that most tourist places treat them like utter crap/abuse them. Look up the story of Pai Lin. Animals aren’t entertainment guys!
