Data & Drinks: The GenAI Edition
The Data & Drinks event returns on the 19th of September, featuring two special use cases focusing on GenAI. Co-Founder and CTO at Next Technology Ronny Roeller will deliver a presentation titled: "Enhancing Dashboard UX with Generative AI," and Machine Learning Engineer Martijn Beeks will deliver alongside Senior Project Manager at Open State Foundation Tim Vos-Goedhart a presentation about an LLM chatbot web application that supports the National Government of the Netherlands answer questions about the contents of documents of tenders and procurement data.

can polars dataframe be used for lgbm machine learning training?
Hi , i try to load csv file using polars, df1= pl.read_csv('filename.csv', ignore_errors=True) but i got PanicException: index out of bounds: the len is 0 but the index is 0 How to solve it? I can run several file csv, but this is the one file csv that i cannot run, the format of the all file that i run is the same
How nice Polars is from the Netherlands. :) proud. Nice library love rust.
I am using polars directly in rust and it is an absolute pleasure to use your lazy API. Thankyou so much for your work and to the other contributors. It has been very satisfying to crush workloads that were slow in pandas. I wonder though if the `use polars::prelude::*;` could somehow be avoided? I find it very difficult to discover all the available functionality that gets imported into the global scope, and I had all kinds of trouble when I tried to import things manually since none of the examples do it that way. Maybe I am still new at rust... back in python import module.* was never the way to go :/
