After watching this video I have to say I agree with you. I have never smoked but I use nicotine gum at work to improve my energy and focus. On my off days from work I have zero cravings. I miss it a little because its nice to use but I don't have the cravings of an addict.

I use the nicotine pouches nowadays complimented by the occasional pipe or cigar, that seems to be enough. I also went through the whole vaping thing and suddenly stopped because i decided i found it awkward and actually not that rewarding. If you're constantly chuffing away on something, the reward element goes out the window. I do think i'm quite reliant on the nicotine pouches now though, a can of around 20 lasts me 3 days.

Your right. I can go without nicotine but not smoking. I love smoking. The whole thing about it. I can smoke other things and feel as good as a cigarette. It goes back to the caveman thing. You either got used to being around fire and smoke or you died. The habit of having something to do with my hands. I talk and use my hands in gestures normally too.

I've read an article awhile back that states "Nicotine is no more addictive than caffeine" and that statement is true.

I quit smoking cold turkey 4 months ago. If you want to quit it's as easy as quitting. You gotta WANT IT THO. I had 0 cravings.

I don't care. I smoke weed and when I stop I smoke cigarettes for like 2 weeks, then I'm aggressive for a week when I stop and then I don't and think it stinks when others do it.

I vaped for a whole year, got bored and quit. Like 12 mg Nicotine juice for a whole year and I quit because I wanted to. Never touched it since.

You are both correct and incorrect. Cigarattes are the worst possible way to consume nicotine, the added MAOIs and other stuff makes it vastly vastly more addictive, and the process of smoking itself is addicting as well that is true, so is oral fixation. Nicotine by itself however is still addictive, and this is very easy to verfiy, take pure nicotine salt orally for a month and then stop, you will feel absolutely awful withdrawels without any oral fixation or smoke involved

I do rely on tobacco. I find nicotine to be on the same addictive level as caffeine. I went from smoking a pack of cigarettes a day to smoking a pipe. Now I can go much longer without craving a hit, but the first thing I do when I wake up is drink water and smoke a hit or two of tobacco. I can go without caffeine but I will struggle, just like I struggle without nicotine. It's the chemical, not the smoke.

I still believe nicotine is addictive but I totally agree part of the addiction/habit is the actual act of smoking itself. Sometimes I find myself just wanting to smoke anything because I enjoy the act of smoking (weed or nicotine)
