RIP DOOM

My favorite De La Soul album and they produced this by themselves along with J Dilla. They proved they didn’t need Prince Paul to produce for them. I get how celebrated their first three albums are but this album is really underrated and to be honest got slept on when it dropped given it was released the same day as Nas’ classic sophomore album It Was Written. To me Stakes Is High is one of the best releases of this incredible year. 96 is one of the best years in hip-hop. So many legendary and essential releases. R.I.P. Trugoy

The first time I listened to daylyt I didn’t notice how dormant my brain was it was littrely hurting my head to try to understand. It woke me up now in life I make sure I have this type of pain every day pushing my brain to its limits and stress and physical pain seems to float on by like fresh air. So no matter if I’m falling off or in a bad place I’m pushing my self to be my best somewhere in life. I feel like I may of only been using 1-2% of my brain acting like a woman or an addict in stressful situations 😂
