Beautiful and powerful! Love it! ❤
Brilliant ❤🥹
I also really love this video clip, we can see various cultures. I as a Fijian native of Fiji preserve your culture because it shows you history. Pretty PLIZ teaches the young generation and the young generation to ask their grandparents if they are well versed in it.
Absolutely love this
Stunningly beautiful, the heart felt struggle of all Indigenous peoples including our Irish and our other Indigenous European
your totally right!!!
This is awesome...well done.
Wouldn't it be epic if a stunning native singer sung the chorus line in their own language and Native Indian chant fadd in background
This is already sung in native Maori. It was a Maori who wrote this song. Instead of trying to redo it, ppl can try making their own content!!
@daveygirl4168 being I am a Maori I know
@@daveygirl4168 Chill, they're not complaining about inclusion or being anti-Maori. OP is trying to unite both indigenous races who can also relate to the message. I'm also Polynesian I don't have an issue with it.
This song reminds me of my late grandfather and Dad. Much love Stan beautiful ❤ time for all us cultures to unite and oppress the oppressors ❤️🤍🖤
Still as powerful as when I first heard it ♥ Mauri Ora ♥
UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING 😢
Are these shots from the actual movie..?
Looks like some parts are
I don’t think so looks like they’ve been taken from other movies I recognize one as Mel Gibson’s film Apocalypto
Aww a stunning creation you are love😊
Love it ❤ To all the indigenous peoples of the world, be PROUD of your culture. Don't lose your language, your way of life. Preserve it for the future generations. 41% of the worlds languages are on the endangered list. It's estimated 90% will be gone in the next 100yrs. Do it NOW!!! Teach the future generations before it's gone for good. EDUCATE your children to represent your culture in the legal system, so they understand how to best protect your interests...especially against land and water grabs, and environmental impacts. Do it, do it do it. Love to my indigenous cuzzies around the world ❤❤❤ Kia Kaha!!!
Tautoko❤
Tautoko💯🖤🤍❤
Ae, tautoko👍
good job, brother!🙋🏾👍 and a LOT of us have seen the universality of indigenous people from all around the world in our heart-minds when watching the original video for the song.🎶🎼 including but of course not limited to our own family's ancestry. hoping ths is on of 'those' videos that remains uploaded here long enough for many, many people to see it! but if anyone who finds it wants to see it again for sure I'd say find a way to capture it because downloads aren't as anymore. guess the ptb worry about us selling what we find here & love? and I do I get it, tosome degree but really??🙄 and because I even recall one well-known, very successful musician, who didn't agree, thought many music artists & filmmakers, etc & their attorneys were 'losing the plot' [no pun intended] & at the expense of alienating genuine fans. similar to the insanity that happened when film companies wanted the public to buy movie tickets & DVDs & downloads - but then they lost their *got-dam* minds & suddenly wanted late night + other talk shows to PAY the movie company to air their film trailers. I mean, wtFRAK??!! because, oh yes, we want the public-at-large to pay *us* to advertise the exact product WE WANT OTHERS TO BUY! another wrong move because those late night shows said 'FRAK YOU, we just won't show your trailers!' because it's the same basic concept - it's as if they wanted a television network to air the production company's film trailer but only if ABC, CBD, BBC, CBN, etc. to pay for it, truly crazy. everyone, esp. those are successful + making a VERY good living, need to do some serious self-reflection and to find some common sense. bjt he had to bcso careful.becauae some of those people got mad at him fjrv
LOVED IT
Absolutely stunning Mauri ora
This song reminded me of the time I was studying in New Zealand. After 20+ years, the song is still very touching hearts.
I have been nz almost 8 years for study, now I came back to China about 12 years, I still miss NZ forever
Hello. I just know this song since yesterday. And I feel great singing it. Very touching. I feel my voice inside of me and she comes out to stell a story. I can feel my phrenic. It´s very powerful to feel like this. Full joy comes out. I didn´t know that the soldiers sung it before they went to war in WWII. No I think of my grandpa, who also fought there. This is what humans are, connected. And music is magic, because she knows no boundaries. So now I feel sorry for all soldiers that they have been mistreated so badly to shot each other down. I still hope female love for mother earth will heal us all and help to overcome this 4000 years of cruelty in patriarchy. We must end this age of opression. I feel the same power and love from deep down inside of me like when I sing Aye kerunene and also when I sing phocahontas song "colours of the wind". The magic is, we live a life of magic, but somehow we get to path which is completely wrong, because we destroy everything. So lets get back to our roots. In a world where you can be anything, be kind to every kind! Would you be so kind and tell me which story is this we can see here? Thank you.
Hello, I'm just wondering, did you create this mash up and if so, how would I go about purchasing the rights to use it?
Hello beautiful, how are you doing today.
Absolutely beautiful.
You could have at least credited the creators that actually made this cover instead of just stealing it. ruclips.net/video/_Jrm9urotI4/видео.html for anyone who wants the real music source
뉴질랜드 민요... 6.25 전쟁과도 너무 인연이 깊은 노래죠... 그냥 이노래는 슬퍼요...
This is just beautifully sung.
Pokarekare Ana pour toujours dans mon esprit #1erRI 2019
뉴질랜더 에 오래전에 여행 도착즉시 가이드가 노래 가사를 주면서 멋지게 부러는 모습이 생각나요 감사합니다
I always got taught the version that says Nga wai o Rotorua
St joseph's maori girls college did a wicked version of this
Those girls will always make any song sound beautiful
And aorere college front row choir pokarekare ana
ㅋ
I love the song with the visuals. Beautiful
I love to listen to your version ☺️ if you would do a longer version with more of those backround sound like the one you have on (i think 0:35) again on 0:40 It really gives the song more depth and i freaking luv it 👍🏻
0:32 is the kind of background drop I mean 😊
I really love this song :D
Pōkarekare ana, ngā wai o Waiapu Whiti atu koe hine, marino ana e. E hine e, hoki mai ra Ka mate ahau i te aroha e. Tuhituhi taku reta, tuku atu taku rīngi Kia kite tō iwi, raru raru ana e. E hine e, hoki mai ra Ka mate ahau i te aroha e. E kore te aroha, e maroke i te rā Mākūkū tonu i aku roimata e. E hine e, hoki mai ra Ka mate ahau i te aroha e. Whati whati taku pene, kua pau aku pepa Ko taku aroha, mau tonu ana e. E hine e, hoki mai ra Ka mate ahau i te aroha e
Hi Lisa, thank you for the lyrics. This song is legend and I guessed that this song is one of the Maori folks song. I participated in school concert in 1969 and I was 9 yrs old. We practised the dance and the movement. Unfortunately I don't have those photos but I could still remember some part of the lyrics very well till today. I was flabbergasted to hear this song played when I watch Moan.
Agreed!
