I knew 2 guys (one with liver failure and the other with adult-onset diabetes) who were both informed by doctors that, if they continued drinking, they would die.. they both chose to continue drinking… they both died… whether we like it or not, and whether we understand it or not… some people choose to use substances, over life itself… it’s true.

My girlfriend and I went to have a taco at the restaurant that he recorded LA Woman. So I guess he got the taco there. There actually pretty good but they closed down.

Babe Hill was a drinking buddy who took advantage of Jim's money. He was also an enabler. This was said by the other members of the band. When he was with Babe, Jim turned into "Jimbo" because of the excessive drinking, which Jim handled poorly.

Jim was mostly ruled by the planet Jupiter which expands out to find the outer limits of perceived reality. How far can you go ??? Saturn restricts one and is contraction . Also a Jim was also Occultic in that he was the 13th sign of the Zodiac - the serpent bearer. Serpent means snake ( " I am the Lizard King " ). A mature minded Jupiter is sage - like and wise ; yet Jim was immature emotionally in some respects childlike; easily frustrated by events causing him to act out his inner being in intense rage and anger. Men like Jim are smart with very high IQ ( his was 143 genius level ) yet can be emotionally immature. He was only 25 when world famous !! Saturn needs Jupiter to balance the energy in the psyche. Saturn is self discipline; self awareness; and ego - hood. Jupiter is " limitless and free " ....Too much responsibility affects Jupiter causing constant pain. A Genius mind yet flawed into a fake believing he could act without restraint or limits. At age 27 -- we know Saturn replaces The Moon energy ( Saturn Return ). Saturn then rewards or punishs accordingly. Jim was a wordy Poet type ; gifted yet to Saturn hard work matters more and self control. Saturn has no grey area ; no mercy . He will cruelly end an energy if he is not honoured with appropriate devotion.

My dad met Jim Morrison in Venice Beach, California in the spring of 1966, they dropped acid together on a rooftop of a house overlooking the ocean. My dad said he was pretty quiet and shy for the majority of their time together but they did talk music & politics a little.

Their 12 bar jams are boring. Their music needs the Vox Organ or a synth that sounds like it and their classical / jazz influence is why they were great. Ray, Robbie, and John had a depthy understanding of music. Jim has the best sounding voice in rock but not worth a crapp live. Great crooner. Listen to the shittty organ sound at the R & R HOF. The bass play making mistakes. These guys were too high or F'ed up to be good "live"
