    Shame on Muslim Soldiers in the British Army. They fought their fellow Muslims in the Ottoman Army. These Indian Muslim Soldiers were Mercenaries.

    This is not nearly enough! Nearly all of our small - medium native animals are vulnerable to extinction, endangered or critically endangered. We have the mammal extinction record! We must save what's left. I love camels, foxes, rabbits, goats etc. but only in their place of origin! The introduction of feral animals is a human caused problem so it is up to us to rectify the problem. I don't even consider the dingo a native animal. After the dingo reached mainland Australia, the thylacine & the 'devil' were wiped out. The dingo never made it to Tasmania. I do, however, understand that the dingo now plays the role of top predator & possibly keeps numbers of foxes & cats down where the dingo is present.

    They're called a pest because they are one. They're an invasive species in Australia that cause significant environmental harm. They trample native vegetation, degrade water sources, and contribute to soil erosion, disrupting fragile ecosystems and outcompeting native wildlife for food and habitat. Their growing numbers exacerbate these impacts, threatening biodiversity across large areas.

    Follow question: Will the ancient herd -if resuscitated from the existing gene pool- be sustainable to the original diseases or will it -having gone through a refiner's fire- be stronger.

  • @jaypeterson3754
    @jaypeterson3754 Месяц назад

    Most of the bison were killed by disease. Few had the DNA to ward off European cattle diseases, and in--fact, those that did survive do have European cattle DNA mixed in. We know this by checking the DNA evidence of both surviving and non-surviving herds. Besides the DNA evidence, the size of the ancient bones campward to today's bison is bigger, and stronger with less curve to the horns. How do you think that all of the bison sculls shown in this video all got into easily one mound? It is because disease affecting -spelled with an A- die-offs would leave whole herds lying in the same field. Herds would lie down and rest together, only to just kept on resting. Hunters on the other hand usually scattered herds to the four winds. Even today the US State of Wyoming is engaged in a selective breeding program to weed out the European cattle DNA, and recreate a purer if not pure ancient herd.

    Ottomans actually sacrificed their brothers instead of their people. Ottoman princes fought each other bloody battles that killed tens of thousands in open battle fields and disrupted state. In Ottomans generally the best could ascend the throne. Because of the first 150-200 years, in sucessively, Ottomans could have best sultans who were very good rules as well as field marshalls.
