Who’s who
Absolutely love this series! Love the honest chats, chemistry between players, the types of questions, all of it😊 thank you!
Thunder is a team u can count on to give a good battle
Who the hell won 😂😅😊😅😂 yall do the saddest highlight reels ever 🎉
Nicole with South African flavor
Damn I wish I could afford to subscribe 😢 the netball looks so good in England atm
nicole was on fire
Just watched the last Thunder vs Pulse match. I reckon half or more of the seats at Thunder are empty. This decision is so utterly stupid. And before anyone says I'm bitter about it, yep, probably, because there's less netball on tv to watch now because between iplayer and RUclips there is actually less coverage and I just don't have the time to travel to Birmingham... so yep, I'm really cheesed off because I'm no longer able to watch the game or team I want to watch..
The best
why no south west ... won't be more accessible will it !
there was so many good highlights from this game that weren't shown, there was barley any defence, the highlights better be better when we go into 2025
I was there
lol. So what was the score?

Hi there👋 am a fan, loving your talks it kind of informative in understanding various aspect that affect netballer but u strive above those issue. By the way, I am a male gay netballer and for me it started through admiring woman being fierceness on court and how the sport mean for them
Me can't Leave out with out watching uk netball ,
Just watching Giants vs Fever in a fully professional suncorp league at their slightly bigger giants venue - it's not even half full. I'm not sure Giants are wondering if a bigger venue would increase their revenue - they're probably thinking about filling all of those empty seats. If Giants can't fill a stadium, I'm very much unconvinced NSL will, let alone with 3 new franchises.
Promotion of incompetence within the board of England Netball and NSL. Just chasing money for money sake is not the answer. Tamsin's experiment with Wasps proved that this is not sustainable.. but NSL will somehow succeed with 3 new franchises? The move to BBC has actually reduced the availability of Netball to watch. There is only one problem statement - getting spectators. If you want to raise more money and increase participation - increase spectators. That is not the same thing as having more seats available. Empty seats in big stadiums cost more than empty seats in smaller ones. There are so many options for raising more funding for netball that are sustainable and will build growth over time but they require deeper thought and effort, such as engagement with the community, schools and national leagues. But I guess if you're busy and lazy and like simple sounding solutions, sure.... bigger stadiums probably look like bigger revenues. If you asked the regular netballer why they don't watch more netball live, I am certain the answer is not "because there stadiums are too small"... And when this does not work and the stadiums have not filled or made the money required and the new franchises collapse (like Wasps did) or walk away and the ones NSL and England Netball have thrown aside are gone, Netball will be worse off. But the CEO of neither organisation will mind because you won't even remember their names and they won't stick around for anyone to blame them. Stars have 2nd best attendance in the league & NSL rewards their effort of getting them where they are today by binning them off. Maybe I am wrong and maybe this will work and maybe it will have been worth one position better in a world cup? Assuming in this new NSL world - somehow this increases the skill level to meet or exceed that of the Diamonds and Suncorp SN.
I wonder what will happen to all the African and South African players that dominate NSL. If they stay there won't be many places for British players.
@chesterdonnelly1212 the same can be said in Australia where their players can't get on court because of the England players. Earn the position and players can't be ignored then, just like Cardwell has done. Less teams in the new setup so less space. Internationals bring brilliant experience and learning for our domestic players to benefit from but you're right, its not obvious to me we can accomodate a strong pathway and internationals. I think this will mean we still lose players abroad, which isn't as such a bad thing as such. Look at how Nat Metcalfe came back from Oz...without doubt IMHO the best WA and Captain anywhere in the world today.
With the announcement of the new pro league losing 4 teams from the current league plus squads reducing to 10 players, I can see a fair few players opting to have children if they don't get into any of the 8 teams for 2025 🤔
Can i also mention with less teams and smaller squads yes you may be increasing the pay but you are not really spending that much more money? So win win for you
Wait. Where is Severn Stars, Team Bath, etc?
Cant commit to the size of stadium so they're out.... :(
They should set up a league for those teams. It sounds they're saying "oh well, you're on your own now, not our problem".
Personally I prefer to watch at smaller arena the atmosphere is not as good in larger arena like AO. It too big and it takes the personal touch away.
What about everyone in the south/south west? There are no clubs around there?
personally, i think the super league needs two divisions with promotions and relegations each season. this will improve competition and bring the so called ‘edge of your seat games’ that they are looking for. also i think it’s an opportunity for clubs to maybe enter second teams to bring their pathway of players into a higher level but also for teams who play in the national premiership to have a taste of what professional netball is. i think moving to 8 teams is a much better idea, but they have knocked 4 teams out that represented scotland and the south east which has now left those areas of the uk with no pathway for younger players to enter into the sport and now young girls who have no option of pathway may choose to play a different sport. there are good bits and bad bits to their nsl 2.0 but at the end of the day it’s for the viewers and thats their main aim. mixed feelings.
There should be a league below this that plays at weekends. Team Bath play on Friday nights. They have loads of fans, as do Surrey Storm, Severn Starss and Strathclyde Sirens. I'm not against Superleague 2.0 but it seems unnecessary to leave half the country without a team to support. Poor Worcester. They've already lost their basketball team, rugby team, women's rugby team and now their netball team.
Clubs next to big areans so more can watch... yeah right. standards, seriously, stars are fourth why rhinos over them?... I don't think so... we can make more money, exploit the fans and destroy some pathways while we are at it. This is ridiculous
Stadium size, they're thinking purely about money (and they're getting that bit wrong too).
They're trying to make it professional.
@@chesterdonnelly1212 making if professional is the easy part, doing it in a way that is sustainable and healthy for fans and players isn't. I hope I'm wrong but I really don't think this is a good decision.
@@richardgrainger6334 I must say, I'm surprised. These are big arenas they're hoping to fill. Expensive to hire. I hope it works out. I'm also gutting for the fans, staff and players of the 4 teams that have been cut.
It's great for netball in the future but sad for the teams falling by the wayside
Big changes, much needed. Hopefully much more competitive and edge- of- your- seat games. Not massively surprised by the teams not taking part to be honest and a great (and obvious) move to 8 teams. Looking forward to more info but this is an exciting start.
Mavericks and rhinos are below stars in the table so how so?
@@carylhoulton4946 it's because of the size of the arenas. Worcester, Bath and Surrey all have nice arenas but they're not big enough for a professional league. I hope there can be a league for those teams. This really sucks for those fans.
