POKER TEXAS HOLD 'EM HUSTLER CASINO LOS ANGELES HOLLYWOOD In this first Poker Vlog, we play some $2-3 no limit Texas Hold 'em at The Hustler Casino in Los Angeles, California.
I really enjoy the monologue portions of these videos. But might I add that more graphics would help a lot for the table action. Lastly, quit limping pre, it pays to be aggressive preflop in these games.
oldman has a nice yard... dont know how i landed in this channel... to bad the house is being sold
"And if I lose... Gotta go home and take out the trash." That made me lol Eloquent and succinct and yeah... We all feel ya.
That said, the slow bleed outs are just The Worst. yegth
That actually WAS a great joke! Def using that one.
Why no chop? Because you have KK or because you never chop?
House looks beautiful! I like Agua Caliente. When I was evading the coastal storms I played there. Nice people. Very enjoyable.
First
great video --- I love the music --- you got style Marty !!! ( ZIA HARRIS )
Zia!! How the heck are ya?! Thanks for watching, hope life is treating you kindly.
I Love these videos !!
No min buy in im guessing?
Did he just fold 55 on a 467 flop? $110 to win $425 with over 38% equity?
Me when somebody I don’t know messes up mental math 🤬🤬
Numbers mean nothing when you look your opponent in the eyes and just know you've lost. The poker gods are cruel, no point in testing them unnecessarily.
Quite funny this VLOG. He starts with $200, wins $120 in the first hand and in the next hand his stack is $200 again. I remember that I have seen this phenomenon in on of his earlier VLOGs and that's the reason why I decided NOT to subscribe or watch it anymore. He's just NOT honest with you (the viewers). Just saying ...
I put the EFFECTIVE stack sizes (the smaller stack, in this case, I had him covered)...
Some people are just looking to see darkness and be angry at what ever crap their mind is showing them.
Good Job Marty‼️
Andrew Neeme in the future?
You are not AI, not enough likes, ill help 😔
Great to see Michael Jack Schmidt poker vlogging these days.
My baseball days really got me ready for the world of high stakes poker.
Nicely done on first vlog. First one is the hardest! I subbed. Good luck at the tables.
Well done! Enjoyed your vlog
I’m curious sir, are you an actor? It seems you have some ties in Hollywood and the entertainment industry based on your other vlogs. Nice session!
I am an actor, among many other jobs... thanks for watching!
Nice content. If you want to grow faster, film short hand history videos under 25 seconds and post those
That is solid advice! I need to do that! Very soon.... thanks!
Great vlog Marty! I was entertained.
Thank for watching!
Good job, good luck on the interveiw
Thanks! Didn't get this one, but that is the actors life...
Now I have to go take a dump...err...go to the dump...
Good video, thanks for posting.
And thank you for watching!
Keep the videos coming like them
I will try! Thanks for giving it a look!
Had a hand with two Jack's of clubs must be a special deck.
oops! 7 of clubs! Good catch... thanks for watching!
@@MartyPoker good stuff
Nice job, Marty! Keep 'em coming.
That's the plan! thanks for checking it out...
Q j garbage hand period....you get owned by villians 🤦♂ 🤦♂
miss ya at the mirage. oh those were the best days of poker. donna harris knew how to run a poker room.. see ya back here in 2025 when hard rock should re open a poker room there.
Great job on your maiden poker vlog! I'm not an actor or writer either. And I've never even heard of you before the RUclips algorithm picked this video. I'm guessing you're somehow tied to the film or media industry?
Enjoying your vlogs! Keep it up!
Hmmm… the play preflop is questionable, and so is the flop play. Pre? Just sizing, as others have said. On the flop? Most players are checking this board no matter what. Is it the right play? Sometimes yes and sometimes no… Are you really betting a hand like QQ or KK with the JJ7 board? Maybe, but you should be checking these hands a lot also… they could have all sorts of Jacks… KJ, AJ, J10, etc… and if you actually had a Jack, you yourself would probably be checking a lot with a Jack. So since you could check big pairs on this board, and you could check Jx on this board. You probably have AK or AQ, and pocket 22 feels compelled to call. In addition to all of this… sometimes AK is just the best hand and we dont even need to bluff… 🤷♂️ Like the vlog quite a bit, watch every week, these are just my thoughts. 👍
Just spot on analysis of that hand. It's feeling more and more like I just overplayed the hand... but of course I would fold 22's there. Part of what makes poker great -- getting to second guess and replay hands over and over. Thanks for watching!!
Does Tortoise Rock no longer have Poker?
AK hand at the end... definitely a good lesson in thinking ahead for future streets combined with knowing effective stack sizes.
I love this & going on the ride with you. I need to be more disciplined with raise or fold. And the hand with KK and QQ - you both did the exact right thing - but often REALLY hard to do with those starting hands. And now I am jonesing to play.
Hi Tamara! How did I forget that you play!?! Thanks for watching and I'll see ya on the felt... (remember the Tiffany? ahhh.....)
3bet 3x in position and 4x out of position as a general rule.
First mistake is min raise a k. Three bet should be 45-60.
Good stuff as usual
Chuck Norris! Didnt know u had a poker vlog! Ur AK hand. Ur preflop 3bet amount was a big mistake. Out of position, u essentially minraised his 15 raise to 35. 5x that puppy to like 75 to negate a bit his position advantage and his odds to set mine. Ur minraise kept a possible J9, JT, JQ, JK, JA in his late position range, and why would he raise u postflop if he happened to have a J if ur doing all the betting for him. He didnt have it here, and he wouldve paid u off if u had a good pocket pair. For some reason, he wanted to look u up. He seems like the sticky type if he looked u up with 22 because those never have a good price postflop unless maybe its a set on a wet board or open ended draw.
My Man! I appreciate the advice, but mainly appreciate the supportive and encouraging way it was delivered! See ya at the LL!
I don’t know why people bother playing poker who would fold pocket Queens to a pre flop raise .
I am learning a lot from these Vlogs.
Thank you random RUclips viewer who is definitely not my mom.
Marty! I love your videos. feels a lot more like my play style than all these pros. obviously winning is nice but I'm in it for the game not the gamble.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching! Need a nice long winning session.... next one!
Love that Lex WON!!!!!
Right? Kid needs the cash.
Congratulations on a well done first vlog. I look forward to seeing you grow your bankroll and brand. 🤘
Congrats on the videos.....would like to start one my self..(Dragging Dad through the Desert on a Dime) as we drive out for WSOP 2024. Need to figure all this out, equipment etc....keep these coming! Will be watching out for ya!
You should start filming! all the 'equipment' you need is your phone... get the footage and figure out the editing stuff after... I hope to hit the WSOP also. best of luck!
Marty, as a cancer survivor. thank you for supporting a great cause like WeSpark.
i'm a super young and new player, 22 y/o and been playing for a little under a year at this point. I get pretty intimidated in cash games so I tend to play mostly tournaments if I can. any advice for how to feel less intimidated at a cash table as a rec player?
New stranger here and after first few minutes a new subscriber.
I may have to unenroll,Cranston is just to danm liberal for me. I don't care but he wants to run his mouth and tell me, that's what wrong with Hollyweird
Congrats on the 500 😊
