I recently started a project to read all of books in the Splatter Western series, and I read four of them in June, along with the four comic one-sheets that were published. "How the Skin Sheds," however, isn't one I have read yet. Glad to hear it was fun! I just finished editing the last of my splatter western videos, but it won't be live on my (brand spanking new) channel for another week or so. Which others in the series have you read? I still have 18 left on my list, but don't have any particular order in which I plan to read them, it is more vibes based on the cover art than anything else, at this point. If you have some you particularly like I would love to hear about them! Also, I am glad you liked "Lone Women." I thought that was phenomenal, Lavalle at the top of his game.

Maybe it’s my age but that one landed hard! 👁️ Will be super interested in your take on Bury Your Gays. I liked it okay but was expecting more from all the hype 📚 You’re killing the Read What You Own challenge! One thing that has helped me with book buying is to first read a book through the library before purchasing, unless it’s something I collect. It’s really helped with new releases I’m stoked for but that ultimately prove disappointing. ⭐️ So much great variety in your picks. Can’t wait to check out some of these titles!!
