Pileated Woodpecker Making a Racket!!
I heard this Pileated Woodpecker hammering away while I was walking around the forest preserve. I eventually caught up with it and decided to take some video, which I've never done with my digital camera. I took this video with my Nikon D500 with a 200-500 f/5.6 lens. It was handheld at 500mm so it is somewhat shaky.

That's me. It was a complete guess on the shot and i went in :)
@calebmckay1 I'm glad you like the video. It was not practice, but a tournament game. Take a look at the referee and the scoreboard if you doubt it ;-) Both teams had dark jerseys so our team had to wear pullovers. Also, players don't celebrate goals in practice, lol!
@McKeelLast Does it really matter? This is not a school science project. It is about learning the camera and the editing software. Thx.
@Joshua271987 Thanks, I'll take a look at your video too. I'm not sure why the black bars are there. I'll look into it. I know it's a wasp, not a bee. Wasp on the Railing didn't sound quite the same though. I knew someone would comment on that, but I wasn't expecting it to be mentioned in the first comment, lol!
