    Thank you very much sir for replying my questions.I still have one more question.Can i save all varieties of gerbera this way? I live in Mizoram ,India subtropical land never too cold but it is beneficial anyway.Your technique of preserving gerbera is very good and i think it will also be safe from diseases too .Mine are multiple layered petals and hybrid beautiful ones ones.

      @ExperimentalGardening 5 часов назад

      Yes you can save all varieties of gerbera daisies in the same way but you are in tropical region which is not so cold do you still want to save them then save them, try to save some of them and leave some as it is outdoors and see which is best for you.

    Do they survive winter by preserving this way or do they rot during long winter??

    • @ExperimentalGardening
      @ExperimentalGardening День назад

      Thanks again, if you will first dry them before storing, they will not rot. They can survive but depends how cold your climate is , normally-5 to -8 degrees centigrade they can survive, if more cold then bring indoor.

    Hi, great channel! I am also growing Pomegranate from seed as well but in a large container. It is about 7 years old and 4-5 feet tall but it has not given fruit yet. Just wondering how many more years it will take for it to fruit? it is in full sun (It is brought indoors in the winter > ZONE 7), w/ appropriate compost. i think the pH is also a big factor for which I have to monitor... hmmm.... thanks in advance!

    • @ExperimentalGardening

      Thanks for watching the video, first, pomegranate plant needs some chill hours which prepares them to gather the energy for blooming and fruiting in spring ( at least 200 to 400 ) , secondly this plant zone is 8+, so some varieties can survive and some can’t survive outside. In my opinion you should leave them outside for couple of weeks ,maybe whole November and December then bring indoors, in this way they will complete the chill hours and may start fruiting.
