They need a big cage😢
I have 2
They can run 70 miles in around 35 hours.
One of my hamsters grew to the age of five years, which is impressive for them :3
I grew up with pet raccons! Super cool animals! Super smart!
I knew that they taste vert good to black southern family!😅😅😅😅😅
To trap a racoon, place some food in a hole that they can fit their hand in, but can't fit a fist through. They won't let go of the food, and become trapped. Super smart ;-)
Love the rabies
Another fact: related to the Ringtail, or Ringtail Cat, my little buddy here. Mostly seen in western US, even the rafters of a few resorts in places like Grand Canyon! 😊
They love to be petted on the teeth 🦷
They also can be incredibly pesky...the not welcome kind
They are also vicious and will attack you. Do not approach them in the wild.
My buddy in rural GA found a lil stray baby raccoon, and saved and adopted it. Mr. Bear he called him. One night me and my bud went to Atlanta, and then when we got home, we open the door and there's Mr Bear, sitting on the sofa eating a slice of pizza with one hand...after he had gotten into and opened and trashed all over the place, any and every loose boxed food my bud had in there. It ws hilarious.
So the wash their garbage with garbage juice. big deal lol
Awesome! I love raccoons and squirrels ❤😅
I have a pet raccoon. She lives wild, but we love and respect each. Panda has been with me for now 5yrs.❤❤
Cute little critters!
Raccoon is an angliziation of an old Indian word meaning "He washes with his hands."
Raccoons don't wash their food although it may look that way. They have no salivary glands - no saliva. They need to wet their food so they can swallow it.
That seems a poor evolutionary strategy... weird
