The colours and layout are great. I cannot put a layout together first, I have enough trouble having photos then choosing papers.

Wow, those are turning out so beautiful, I absolutely love the colors and all the gold foil paper. Sometimes it’s a struggle placing photos on layouts already done.

I love this so much!! I have to give it a try. I have never ever done a layout without photos and I have been scrapbooking for a LOT of years, but I can totally relate to what you said about some layouts with photos being more stressful instead of just being creative...I might have to try that too! 😆 Thanks for the inspirations!! ❤️

Love the patterned paper border you created along the bottom! And I would LOVE to see the layout once you have photos on it...either a video or still photos. I'm always scared to make "naked" layouts - for fear that the photos I take later don't fit what I already have designed.

So pretty. I really liked the dark value of the first generation stamp in trees. Occasionally the dark value is really pretty. Used to nail bite. Took 2 years to stop wanting to!!

Your layout turned out great. When projects become tedious I often go back to another project because I find I don’t do the photos justice if I’m not putting the effort in.

Love this layout and your photos Kami. I feel you when you say too much pressure on getting things perfect, but what might be perfect in your mind is excellent in the views 😊 I love the faux leather technique and it makes a big impact on this beautiful layout. Love your handmade embellishments and all these little details…LOL you know I would. I personally like the arrows just the way they are and that they are not perfectly symmetrical. That’s how they look like when you see old scripts. Writing the words in viking-ish (ha is this a word?) now I am impressed and it looks awesome. Would be fun to write your story this way too. Great layout ❤ loving to see how it came together too

What fun. I come from Nordic ( Viking) ancestors so this appealed to me. I have some of our family coat of arms. This would be kind of fun to use in some family history stuff.

Cute layout Kami and I love the decorations you did and the photo collage. I am in the habit of not using ink pads on my layouts because too often I drop a brush or stamp and make a big mess 😂 Too afraid to get ink on the photos too. Thanks for sharing your layout ❤
