...my dad used to sing in a barbershop quartet. He was a tenor...I remember sitting in church I could hear his voice singing up behind us in the choir, I'd always listen for him. I'm pretty sure he had perfect pitch, he was NEVER off key. Sadly....he can't sing anymore but he is enjoying his later years in a Christian senior village down in Florida that is only 5 minutes down the road from my sister. So many happy memories of growing up in a New England little town and my dad's wonderful voice. Thanks for bringing that to mind !

Hey, that was great! We sang with the North Star chorus for the last 15 Christmas shows & just recently at a Twins game. We sang the nat'l anthem and then God Bless America & Take Me Out To The Ballgame. during the 7th inning stretch. It was fun!(Aug 20 game)

Who taught these Scouts that Color Guard does Not salute the Flag, and what is the Source of that information??? Also, the Bugler should Not be sounding Taps, but To the Colors. Taps signals "Lights Out" and is sounded at Funerals: See the Bugling Merit Badge book. Of Course they practiced beforehand...NO color guard should go in cold; they need to know the equipment, the lay of the land, any obstacles that need special maneuvers and so on.
