I love how they banter like siblings all the time its so fun to watch you can tell these two had great chemistry with each other and as of result are having fun with each other

The thing about her pointing at him and then her eyes to say she'll be watching him? She does it backwards. She's supposed to use one finger to point at him and two at her eyes. But, being Clara, she still makes it work.
When did Clara become so cool with the tardis the doors will close when she snaps? I know they hated eachother to the point where the tardis would mess with Clara more than any other companion
The tardis hated her because it didn’t understand the impossible girl thing I believe and she shouldn’t exist but after the doctor learned, I suppose the tardis did too because from the 50th onwards they got on. Like the tardis never would’ve let her cook a turkey in the time of the doctor otherwise
@@tommyhickin4669 honestly, I think it's just moffat having issues with continuity. Once the name of the doctor episode, never was her being the impossible girl mentioned again.
@@tommyhickin4669 maybe the tardis was super jealous since the doctor was so fixated on her like to the point of going to her as a child and watching over her etc. And he's never shown that interest in another companion.
@@charlespettit7149 pretty sure it does continue to get mentioned. Along with Missy being revealed to have introduced clara to the doctor so they could be the hybrid
@@tommyhickin4669 yes but it's never mentioned except a few times when they first learn about a woman. She was a really great companion then she changed a lot from how she started. And how she left was not fair for her like moffat couldn't give any companion a nice ending.
Pretty sure captain jack harkniss had a trade mark on “Big old face” by like 1950.

They must be friends behind the scenes to have this kind of banter. Yeah its a script, but you can just tell from how 2 actors interact with how much banter they have
Oh, Peter and Jenna have incredible chemistry. Just watch few of their interviews. I adore them
Yeah especially you compare it to his relationship with Pearl/Bill you can feel and see a massive difference. He's obviously very close with Jenna
Peter & Jenna became friends working on the show. Rachel Talalay commented on how close they are. They're very fond of each other to this day.
I liked Clara. For some reason though, I didn't like the fact that she could also open the Tardis doors by snapping her fingers.
The TARDIS was probably just helping her rag on the Doctor. She's a sassy and sentient machine!

Pretty sure all companions could probably copy. 10 and Donna did it together when he learned how. And the Tardis maybe feels especially bad for Clara after being mean to her for all of series 7 and the clicking is representative of them getting on
That´s what I love about Clara. At some moment she didn´t want to travel with the Doctor, but BE the Doctor. She´s a control freak, that´s why Missy chose her. But smart enough to solve the problems.

@@kenthomas505 I suppose that spending an eternity trapped in a castle with a creepy monster and putting time itself in danger says enough about it.
I also love the deeper implication of "so I don't have to". Eleven's facade of happy madman was part of him trying to move on. But his love for people still kept him vulnerable which is part of why losing the Ponds really broke him for a while. I've seen a lot of people say Twelve is a 'mask off' incarnation. One of the ways I think that is, is that Eleven becoming Twelve was subconsciously trying to shut himself down emotionally because he was close to breaking point, kind of like what Ten when through (Waters of Mars was a big example of that). But at the end of the day the Doctor can't just switch off his compassion, so the next best thing was for him to just delegate compassion duties to his companion so he could tell himself "alright that's handled now I don't need to deal with that stress." All three had compassion, but Ten and Eleven thrived on it. By the time the Doctor became Twelve, he found it exhausting.
I love Clara, she is the best, 12 and Clara are my favourites. I wish they could have ended it better :(
