This is an option (not sure when it was made noticeable and an option). When creating the ad, you'll see right under the Ad setup section where it says, "Multi-advertiser ads (recommended). Enabling this may increase your ad's exposure to people in a shopping mindset by allowing this ad to appear alongside ads from multiple businesses." However, I think this is only to opt in or out of showing your ad after someone else's. I don't think there is an option to not have any other ads show after yours.
