It is the best weapon in the game, so you'll potentially be disappointed by the other options, leading to a 1-dimensional experience. I think the Azure Dragon Glaive is better left for subsequent playthroughs after you've explored the other weapons Lies of P has to offer. Enjoy the game!

Shimano was the Tojo traitor. They reveal this when he tells Majima that he never actually wanted him to kill Makoto. He wanted them to fall in love so Majima would convince her to give the land to Shimano so he could give it to the Omi, but that plan fell through. The "proof" that he wasn't the traitor was killing the "actual" traitor. Majima didn't kill Shimano because he needed a way back into the Yakuza, and being branded the murderer of a patriarch wouldn't do a lot of good for him.

I always feel like sam Deserves his own standalone game, they would probably have to either retcon his death or do an even far back orgin story (personally I wouldnt mind retconning his death, he just seems like such an interesting character)

To complete onion boys quest u need to first help him defeat a demon on top of the tower where you first see him after that here u have to kill patches aka fake onion boy and drop the amour into the well and then you need to to free him from the irythill dungeon and thats it!!
