Woke up to 18 degrees F. Definitely put my goose down sleeping bags to the test! Double layered got really toasty… even with my out of action heater. It keeps on over heating and then shutting down. Gotta look into it cause I love winter camping! Had Frost inside and obviously outside everything….

You can avoid frost on your inside walls with a little flow-thru ventelation allowing moisure generated by your lungs to escape. Your body also generates moisure, which is released through your bag. Poor ventelation also results in a cold, clammy sleeping bag. Shouldn't need to double-bag.
