Mr Squirrel - Your Feeding Time’s Up
Просмотров 633 года назад
A device added to my mechanical squirrel feeder to stop the squirrel hogging the feeder. It encourages it to jump off giving a chance to the others to have a go.
Hi I’ve also just started restoring one I’ve got it dismantled however I’m missing the wooden rollers just wondering where you got them from. Thanks
Hello Aiden. After much researching I found success at The Turner's Workshop - www.turnersworkshop.co.uk Contact Richard Findley 0116 281 1303. Good luck with the restoration. Stuart.
No youngsters there. Guess they are home playing video games.
Pleased to see Pete Jackson is still flying 🛩️
Great film by Stuart Josephs. Good to see Ashley Josephs✈️
Brilliant video , I found myself saluting your take off... We are a much smaller club TMAC but we had so much fun ! roll on next year !!!
Great event, great people.
This tribute to my brother Barrington Abis appeared on my Facebook page today March 6,2023. It is so hard to believe there no longer be FaceTime talks as we shared laughter and family news. You are so deeply missed Barry. MHDSRIP💕
cheers that was great to watch, how did you do the bomb drop if you could show how you set it up would be great Robbie from new zealand
Hi Robbie. Glad you enjoyed the video. Attached photos of the bomb dropping device we used for our fun fly # 1 is of a unit complete with a Li-Ion cell and a built in receiver so that the unit can be swapped from plane to plane and triggered by a seperate transmitter. # 2 is the bare unit with an extension lead from the on board receiver to the release servo. # 3 is of the complete assembly fitted with the foam rubber bomb. It is bolted directly through the undercarriage mounts on the underside of a Chris Foss Wot4 ARTF. These units have been 3D printed, but a simple unit can be constructed from balsa wood, see # 4. We bought our bombs/rockets from Amazon # 5. Click on this link to see the unit; ruclips.net/video/dIhy3_T5RNM/видео.html
@@stuartjj100 Cheers for that, my club will love it, how just to make it, 3d printer I have the man for that and the rest is easy, Big Thanks for that, it's going to be lots of fun
Great to see what can be done. Stunning resteration. I wish to restore my folding table mangle. It's not as bad as this one before restoration. Would like to know what wood was used for roller, as I need to get a wood Turner to make me a new one, as bottom one too damaged to use.
Hi Craig. Wood used for the rollers is Sapele. After a lot of searching online and many phone calls, I found turnersworkshop.Co.uk and as you’ve seen they did a great job. Good luck with your restoration.
Great video, very enjoyable to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely Koi 😊

Well done everyone, here is racing drone footage from minehead and District model flying club ruclips.net/video/gVBAQQjclrI/видео.html
Superb video.
Simply brilliant, very well done NLMFC!!
You made a really lovely job of that. Definitely early 30's. Most companies (Pioneer, Taylor Wilson, etc.) went over to rubber rollers just before WW2, then a break for 'war work'. Drip trays tended to go to aluminium after the war as aircraft were broken up and all that ally was sold off cheaply (Landrover bodies famously used it to great effect too). The Pioneer I did is now in Blists hill museum at Ironbridge. Have a look at my video when you get a chance. ruclips.net/video/oUvrF8q8FVI/видео.html
Just watched your restoration and I'm very impressed at the way you tackled it. Looks great. Thank you for your compliments on my mangle and for the historical background. Very interesting. I really enjoyed restoring it. As you saw, I had to make new rollers which did not work out too well. The chap I gave the job to along with the specifications, failed to apply the rule; measure twice cut once. The rollers needed to have a diameter of 5.5 inches minimum, but he turned them down to less that 5 inches. So in order to complete the project I have temporarily wound thin plywood around each one to the correct size. They look the part and they work perfectly but they won't last. I'm looking for someone that can remake them. If you know anyone please do let me know. All the best. Stuart
@@stuartjj100 Yes there's only so much adjustment the gearing can take to compensate for roller diameter. I'm in the process of restoring a 1949 TayWil and have had to replace the rubber rollers (being white they're 90% natural rubber so rot away). The ones I managed to get are from a Pioneer but fortunately Pioneer made all of TaWil's rollers after the companies merged through family marriage so they're Identical. Getting them off or the square spindles was hard work though!
Pleasure to work on, looks great!
Excellent contents!
You shot very well! Very steady camera holding! Bravo!
Great to see your chair was not a problem have same concern...just gotta roll on tho..on the Crown real soon too April 2019...thanks for the video...

I loved the cruise i went to Norwegian fields
Loved this video. I am going to be traveling with a walker/transporter for the first time on a trip. I am having total hip replacement after the vacation. Your video is so great!! It is reassuring to see that I can do what you have done. Thanks for posting.
Hi Stuart. I'm really sorry I missed the flight of this great plane but it still looks and sounds fantastic on my iPad screen. Hopefully my body will come out of Failsafe mode and be fully functioning to see it on its next flight. Regards Nidge
