Thanks for your comment. It was plugged in, that was how I could tell the tone control was/is not working .
@@stevel5650 try spraying some dioxit on it or maybe the wire came unsoldered you might need to re-soldered it.

I always thought this lens was a bit of a weird one - what benefit could it give when mounted to a film camera with no video? Is it any good for video use on a more modern DSLR?

@@stevel5650 I liked it immediately. 😂 The reason I'm here is I'm going to check out a red label FG180 tomorrow and I wanted to get a feel for what they sounded like. Very similar resonance and tone to a Martin of the same era. I'm impressed.

@@stevel5650 I just bought an almost spotless 91 921 old violin burst that plays about as good if not better than my 91 Ibanez Rg570. I always wanted a Pacifica because the necks looked so great. It really is amazing and the pickups are Dimarzios and sound awesome and it's built with more exotic wood than my RG570. (swamp ash vs basswood) Overall A better guitar. I've had the RG570 for 29 years as my main guitar. I play it by default. Like a pair of comfortable shoes. That said this new one is an awesome playing guitar and awesome sounding guitar. That neck really is one of the best I've ever played. Luv and Peace.
