There's no other Chinese New Year parade with a panda bear strumming the ukelele. Only on the Hawaii island. So happy to see the Chinese on the islands are keeping up with their heritage in their communities. Hawaii is such a wonderful place with a variety of cultures blending together.

Feel sorry for the two little girls sitting on their parent's shoulder trying to catch the gifts. Asian guy in front of them was tall enough to reach his arm out and catch the gifts before the girls could even reach it. Greedy...... 🙄

This has been a joy to watch, even if it's a sad topic in the 52nd and last Ukulele Festival Hawai'i. Had hoped to go again in the future, but will just have to keep on strumming and enjoy my pre-covid attendance memories. Aloha from Australia 🇦🇺🤙
