Alma was a witness to her son’s police murder on July 14, 2011 - which happened after Alma called 911 because Rafael was suffering from a mental health crisis. I believe that the police officers that shot and killed my son in-law should be held accountable. Thomas was a awesome human being. We still miss him because he made an impact in our lives. Keep the case going and you are doing the right thing by seeking justice for the unnecessary death of Thomas Mc Eniry by trigger happy cops.

AA have been dying in the streets... Crying, making funeral directors, tee shirt makers, placard sign manufacturers and shoe industry rich; all while chanting the same chants they have been chanting since Trayvon Martin was murdered and the judicial system says no crime was committed... IT'S VERY SICK and simultaneously comforting to the dominant society to see these acts of insanity.

They are establishing themselves on the frontline and organizing and coming together to share resources. This is partly due to how accessible social media is in these times, and it is an opportunity that families have for the first time to really be connected. However, I have no faith that the federal justice system is any less corrupt than municipal or state ones. It is federal law enacted by Bill Clinton which saw to the passage of the omnibus crime bill and the militarization of our police forces so I see the federal government as a big part of the problem.
