A Music History Sightseeing Tour
See Seattle the way it should be seen. Take this tour and stalk the city where music history was made. See the first place Pearl Jam ever played, the bar where Nirvana played to nobody, the Jimi Hendrix statue, the apartment building from the movie Singles, the homes where Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley died, and more. The tour is small and personal. You'll be riding in a mini-van and we stop everywhere to get out and take photos. Space is limited but the conversation isn't. Hang out with other music fans and see Seattle in a unique way.

A pls e where loggers used to hangout off skid row when they were unfortunately cutting down more of the forest than they should have
Also my buddy Angus who was in our shirt student Film sins of the Father has his posterior on a flyer somewhere on the wall in there too
Lucky enough to play there and we had Godzilla in our flyer wasn’t even aware of the famous Soundgarden one from back in the day. Synchronicity ig
Always thought that western hemlock (our state tree btw) was stately but its legit considered old growth judging it looks ~100+ years old in the photo 100 years ago

He died there, but he barely lived there. They bought the house on January 18th 1994. Kurt went on Tour Feb 4th until returning to Seattle on March 11th. He stayed in dumpy motels rooms until around March 18th. March 25th he has an intervention and went to rehab on March 30th.
So sad kurt didnt fully enjoy his fame and fortune he didnt realize how blessed he was he couldve just gave courtney what she wanted and made small steps secretly like a will or divorce papers and ran away as far as he can like in irelamd and do whatever he wants but he thpught of frances that he loved dearly..
What is the name of this song?
Amazing video ❤thank you!
This still hits hard😢
Is that Andrew wood stalking us?
So the room where Kurt shoot him self not exist anymore.
I went to a party at that house around 2000. My girlfriend at the time worked for the Cancer Care Alliance and was invited...I was the plus 1. What was cool was the owner told me they had changed a lot of the house but kept a wall unchanged (if I remember right it was by the kitchen) where Courtney had kept track of of Bean and a friends height as they grew. She also marked her height and wrote, Mommy Love
Wait .... so kurt only lived in this house for a few months? It says they bought it in January of 94?
Yes
@stalkingseattle4430 for some reason I thought it was longer, thanks for clarifying. Poor guy man, he went thru so much in such a short amount of time. Thank you for this video.
Oh my god!! I’ve been trying to find interior shots of this house for years!!!!
top video and details.
#justiceforkurt
Man what millionaire bought that house back in 2020. Overall 7 million is a insane amount for a haunted house
The view from the veranda of lake washington is to die for great video
Cool video Lol the music goes great with it
Great
Wow. This was really interesting. I had no idea what the history of the house was
I was randomly there that day. My three friends and I (16/17 years old) were at the PSC for a fun day and we came upon this, and Courtney rolling around on the ground. It was sad.
Nirvana Foo Fighters Grunge in the 90s
Kurt Cobain 1967-1994 Rip
Great stuff here. 👍 Loved the history and old pics of the place. Beautiful house. Didn't realize his time there was so brief, i wonder if the ghosts of the place finally pushed Kurt over the edge like a Jack Torrance kind of deal.
🖤
This sounds like a silverchair song almost.
Every interview this guy gave he was an A-hole....what am I missing here? He sucked as a human, he sucked as a band mate, he sucked as a husband and father.....he was a F'ing alcoholic and dope head?.....why do people envy him?
Courtney removed the greenhouse because she wanted all the evidence destroyed. This was no suicide. It was murder.
There is no proof of suicide whatsoever. Everything points to murder. And there is proof everywhere. It was set up to look like a suicide. Justice for Kurt Cobain once and for all.
I have been looking into this for the past 30 years. There is no proof of suicide whatsoever. Everything points to murder. And there is proof everywhere. It was set up to look like a suicide.
any reported prior ghost that may have influenced him?
🔥
WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT PIUSHED HIM OVER THE EDGE BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE MARRING COURTNEY WAS A BAD DECISION 😢
After the death of her husband, she immediately began dating other famous people in the industry. And everyone of them ended up dumping her and saying negative things about her.
@The_Crow78. Seriously sad to say, Kurt's daughter looks a little off 😢 I recently seen a interview and she pretty but she has a scary look in her eyes 👀
@@imagine9265 It is understandable because she grew up without a dad and with a psychopath mom.
When I went there in 2010 there were some kids playing in the driveway and could easily look right over top the fence next to where the greenhouse was. I felt bad for the people living there having no privacy with people lingering all over the place.
Um, that was really good music. 👍
very recently i was at the memorial and i walked over to the house fence and when to the side where the garage would’ve been and in that moment i had just a random nirvana song on you know and as soon as i got to the fence i felt a weird energy something i’ve never truly experienced very very spooky but ofc RIP kurt
So I was in the right place. Ive gone there twice but wasn't 100 percent sure it was the right place. The only difference is that part of the back of the bench is missing now. It had a bunch of cool stuff carved into it so someone stole it for that.
The boards have been replaced many times now.
@SparkySpeedway Right. But it was in early 1995 that i first went there so they were original then.
The greenhouse had a beautiful view of lake Washington and the Seattle greenery. I doubt kurt’s heroin fuelled state would have allowed him to care, but I’d like to think he had a beautiful view of the world before he grabbed that gun
Someone else grabbed that gun. Not him.
I visited in March of 2020 just before Covid got bad, the property is beautiful. I wrote my name on Kurt’s bench.
I’ve always wondered what the inside looks like, I wonder if there is some kind of clause that doesn’t allow buyers of the home to publicly share pics of the inside given it’s the place he passed away and those pics could go for a lot of money even now.
I see a house not a home
At least from the outside, looks like Van Sant did a really good job scouting a location to shoot 'Last Days.'
Yeeeeah
What a beautiful home. I could see being very comfortable there. My kind of place.
That house looks creepy and haunted.
A haunting of Kurt cobain..
Fuck yo couch 😂
At one time there was a short video on YT of the garage being torn down. You know who had the contract to demolish it? Michael “Cali” Dewitt’s dad construction company.
Courtney removed the greenhouse because she wanted all the evidence destroyed. This was no suicide. It was murder.
Quien es ese? Perdón la pregunta
Destroy the evidence
Hello Charity😊
I visited a couple of years back and the gates to the house were open. I should have ventured in ... I was also fortunate enough to be in the smells like teen spirit video. Early fan
Were you actually in the video?
@@The_Crow78. I was, as well as two of my friends. At the time it wasn't a big deal as most of the people I knew didn't know who Nirvana was.
@@xavier_l_lwhat was your favourite memory from that day?
@@kidkrazen I guess it would be sitting on the graffitied bench just outside of the house while thinking about Kurt.
@@xavier_l_l man you are soo lucky. You lived in a time where things were raw , real. I was only born 12 years after cobain had died and only TODAY I actually BECAME a fan of nirvana. I know I’m late but Im catching up on absolutely everything
