This is a romcom with Shounen elements and you can tell, due to invested in that little awkward moment they had in their Nurse's office. It's funny how she was asking them about bullies... only to do the bullying herself on that bald man.

It took me reading the manga twice to warm up to him and switch from Team Az to Team Sett ship wise. But Sett and Nina's interactions animated really show all the cuteness and playfulness in their dynamic, more than with Azure where it's more like an intense new feeling (first love for both Az and Nina) and Azure being bossy teaching Nina how to act like a princess all the time. But I mean Azure is her "first love" and with Sett we get "enemies to lovers".

Everyone at school is going to know about Ken now, poor dude was naked the whole episode and in the end their caught like that. This show ridiculously funny and so creative, like it was hyped up to be.

okarun transformation is so edgy but the good kind, I love it and I think is fantastic people still like edgy characters designs (Vincent Valentine for example)

I've only read the English translation of the manga where Nina has an inner monologue remembering how Azure calls her name. It is said that he elongates the vowel in the first syllable and it sounds like a ring, which she loves. That's the difference between "Nina", her name, and "Neena", the bird's name. The former has a shorter vowel. It's implied that Az calls Nina pronouncing her name like Neena because it's endearing. In the English dub of the anime you might notice this difference more clearly, as the VAs for Sett an Az put emphasis on the syllables to mark the distinction as a work-around to translate something Japanese. BTW, I'm enjoying your Nina's reactions a lot! Can't wait for you to react to episodes 8 and, especially, 9, which will be fire 🙂

I didn't expect an anime about looking for the protagonist's balls will make me cry 😭

This episode was truly surprising, completely caught me off guard and it was BEAUTIFULLY SAD. So much depth, from a series about a guy who keeps losing his family jewels. Another thing I've noticed is that the area turns "pink" compared to Turbo Granny's "red", which indicates that the Yokai/monster has dominance in this area. Hers was pink, because Aira triggered her motherly instincts and turning her into a Yokai (powerful spirit).

This episode is when the animation and story get messed up. Not spoiling anything but in the manga It's different from here on out but that's doesn't make the anime's version any less good. Hope that doesn't deter you

My theory is that Nina felt awkward and forced herself to smile when Sett stole that kiss. Since she wants him to like her, she tries to show him she is not so displeased with her husband-to-be. But Sett wants to taint her. He wants her to stop the good girl act and play casual, give in to lust. So when he asks her if she grew up, she feels insulted because to her the adult, mature thing is to kiss with love. She knows what a love kiss is from Azure. And yeah, I think she was sad at the end because she misses Az and wishes he had been the one to kiss her 😢

People with no spiritual awareness can't see Okarun's transformation, that's why nobody made a big deal. Yeah this plot is crazy.

We already know Okarun is "...an awkward guy" and Momo is just as awkward, which would explain them hiding their faces, as they make amends.

Granny Seiko couldn't help them until they crossed to her city, because she borrows power from the gods in her hometown. The music choice was genius, it just added to the chaos and made Okarun seem like Momo's horse.

When you think about it, Alfreya really didnt bettay his race, he just betrayed the celestials alliance with one another. As for Vanessa, i think she just remembered the real world because she was cut by the Code Holder (Sid's sword)

I think Seiko looking so young to be someone's grandmother, is another running gag in the show amongst other thingy(s). Also Momo's weakness to the name alone is so funny.

They're not blood-related at all. Both were adopted as replacements to the real royal half-siblings prince and princess which died but, only very few people know the truth. You will learn this by the second and third episode of the anime.

Still nothing official yet from the manga cause they're taking a while to translate it so cant share much info. As for the Last Riser though, i can compare it to like an AI filter for this world where anyone who mentions or remembers Sid is erased kinda like how there's AI nowadays that deletes stuff should there be a certain word/words involved
